1. Step away from the computer and hit the pavement. * dont just depend on technology but actually step out and meet someone or the person you want/would like to connect with. * If you speak to someone and actually meets them it goes a very long way 2. Be a good sales person * Sell yourself as the person trying to get someone else’s product * Sell the show that you work for * Sell the host * Practice the sales pitch * Keep in mind what your saying don’t have to be all robotic about it like word for word but just keep in my the things that you are saying and the words that are coming out of your mouth 3. Be bold but not pushy * Get out there be bold. * Don’t be afraid * Introduce yourself * Don’t be afraid to slide into a conversation. Don’t straight up interrupt but engage in what someone is talking about. * Know when to step away * If your trying to sell yourself on someone don’t be too pushy when doing it. Learn to accept it and move on or step away. 4. Be social media savvy. * Put social media into action. * Adapt or Die 5. Don’t burn any bridges * Cause someway along the way someone will figure it out * Cause young it old someone has the potential and can probably become your C.E.O one day 6. Have personality * Open yourself up and don’t be afraid when doing so. * Don’t fake it be authentic * If your just hanging your head and eyebrows down low no one is going to pay any attention to you or want to conversate with you 7. Be yourself * Don’t be robotic * The people who are always genuinely themselves and who are honest with themselves and is honest with you those are the people who people are going to be receptive to.

The 7 steps to master networking by Dr.Finesse. Inclusive of a little explanation and Tom's comment on the 7th one: 1.Leave the computer and hit the pavement. 2. Be a good salesperson. 3. Be bold but not pushy 4. Be social media savvy. 5.Don't burn any bridges. 6.Have personality.(Don't fake it,just open up yourself a little) 7. Be yourself(Be defenseless). 7.5 . Be loyal to a fault Don't sell your product every time you network,it pays to just get to know each other

Similar story, I've been networking and putting myself out there since I was 16, just building and building. Another story, 2 years ago when I was 20, I just finished college and moved to the big city, Manila. I straight up went to a TV station(main building) and dropped my resume, asked if there's an opening. Unfortunately, they didn't get back to me but I'm glad they didn't because if it wasn't for that, I won't be in sales. :D Every rejection is a redirection. Appreciate your hustle, Dr.!

I've commented here before, I love watching these episodes - I watch IT, Lewis Howes, Tim Ferriss, etc. and I'm not a young entrepreneur - but there is so much wisdom here and Dr. Finesse, this episode, all of it, put a huge smile on my face. Such warmth and reality and inspiration. Thank you!

Interviews tend to make me feel a number of things when I watch them. Some generate curiosity, other inspire me and of course, there are the ones that make me have a deep reflection o myself (take the one with Joe Dispenza on IP for example). This one made me feel something I don’t remember feeling while watching an interesting conversation, and that’s joy. I actually paused the video to leave this comment and keep going because I’m literally grateful that I’m listening to this. Thanks Tom and thanks Chris! *Pressing “send” and watching the rest of the video*

You are an amazing interviewer. I definitely get it why you praised Chris so many times during the talk. It's hard not to recognize his charisma. Besides, he seems to have a wonderful level of humility. Keep up the great work guys!

This has been one of the best episodes that I have seen, because I can relate so much to Dr. Finesse story. I’m still finding my way but hearing this, helps bring so much clarity to my meaning and purpose. I’ve thought for so long that I’ve had no real talent but hosting my relationships with people I’ve notice is a skill. I’m so over my 9-5 job but I do definitely believe that I’ve sharpened my skills by being in this job. I’m here in the DMV, but I would love for him to be my mentor one day. Tom, your an amazing host as always and I appreciate you as well as the aspiring things that you bring out of your guests on the show. I’ll meet your guys soon on the rise to the top, but for now... take care and know that you all are an inspiration to me and many more! One love... #KeepInspiring John Anderson aka @JohnTerrohn on ig ✊🏾 P.S. S/o to this being my first post ever on any type of RU-vid video

These early interviews are refreshing to hear and watch because it shows the evolution of Tom. His more recent I reviews seem to make me feel like " I could never be this good". It's always good to realize that we all start somewhere. BTW I'm assuming this was an early one. Anyway, great to see and helps me recognize, again, that everyone has a beginning.

Interesting! Thanks for sharing. Believe it or not, I started and run a networking community of introverts. Its been 5 years. I encourage them to get from ONline to meet other introverts OFFline at our monthly meetups. In all honesty, it's hard work but its really fulfilling when I see them progress, gaining confidence to interact and connect and relate with others.

Another great show, can't wait to meet Christopher, so many of his stories are similar to mine. Also can't wait to meet you both. Sometimes you just come across people that are the type of people you would be friends with. Great show, I am a power networker as well and agree with all of his rules. I think being all in with people from the moment you meet them is key, people don't get that from their boss, their friends and family and generally it just makes them want to be around you, any business benefit will happen organically when it is a good match.

At 9:10 during a casual jam session, has a convo, accepts a job and is like "yea man" and does a little rift 🎶🎶 😂 so funny. Then at 9:45, randomly, a small adorable puppy walks into view and parks it onstage by Dr. Finesse's foot. Haha good stuff. He said his incentive to go to a party invite was if there was going to be food there? Open bar "nah" Food? "Yea, I'm there" Lol. Then opportunities & connections occured organically... What?!!! At 16:00 Tom is served and eats food during interview, doesnt give to Finesse?!! What is happening here??

These are very good. I thank you for these 7 tips. My question is what can I as an introverted and extroverted person (on certain days) do to improve my attitude so that I can be "up" all day long rather than down and in the dumps and not able to get out of my "funk". I like being a friendly person who cares about others...until the next day for some reason. Can you give me some suggestions what I should do to make sure my attitude and mind set is positive daily? I appreciate your TIME getting back to my questions. Thank you
