Try 1. plug your charger into your phone and connect your phone to your computer. Then try the Power + Vol Up method Try 2. Hold Power + Vol Up and let go as soon as you either see Samsung or feel vibrate - let go as fast as you can Try 3. Hold Power + Vol Up and keep holding until you see Android Menu. Good luck

A lot of people say to 1. check the power button - clean it with a small brush to make sure it is not gunked up with grime or dirt - and staying in the down position after you press it. Some people say they have got theirs unstuck by 2. holding vol down + power for like 2 minutes - until the samsung logo comes back on. Unfortunately, in my experience, that is a bad sign that something inside the phone is broken if those 2 options don't do anything for the phone. Try those 2 first and get back to me.

That is a tough one. Unfortunately, when you see that, it probably means your phone is dead. You can try putting it away for a few days so the battery runs all the way down and then try again. You can try a different charger - like a newer one with more power or "fast charging" available. You can get lucky by going to your local mobile store to see if a super helpful super smart employee works there (who doesn't just want to sell you a $2000 new phone). Best of luck to you.

Get a new phone

Unfortunately, the S8 was released in 2017 - that's a 5 or 6 yr old phone. Which is very old in phone years. When the "stuck in logo" shows up that is a bad sign - usually meaning that the phone is bricked. There is a small chance that you can leave it alone and let the power run all the way out - then charge it again. But the chances are low low low. Good Luck, though.

S8's are getting old. Unfortunately, when your phone starts to get stuck in a bootloop, it may be the end. You may need to let battery run all the way down to try again. Good luck.

Factory reset clears out the phone and the screen lock. If you set up the phone with Gmail / email / Google - especially if you turned on "Find my Device" you will 100% still need to sign back in your your Gmail / Google account / email account.

If you can't get the last users info, then your phone is locked and there is nothing you can do. Try to track down that last owner. Or go get your money back from the person you bought it from.
