For me, it was that freakin' mushroom boss at like the 3rd stage just before you go into the first castle. That dude and his puked up mushroom babies got the better of me for a while.

Bionic Commando was an amazing game for NES, no save point either...loooooong game.

It's not even the best one on Master System imo.

I have beaten the SMS version before when playing it on my Game Gear. I usually preferred the PC Engine version (Bikkuriman World) since it was closer to the arcade version.

i finished it in 1988 I was ten, there's many tricks and hidden things, my brother's and I played for months, my second favourite, best is dragons trap

same for me. except the last round in the tower upwards. Today I am more calm for this part ^^

I was 6 years old when I got to the tenth level boss. I died but it was the farthest either me or my older brother had gotten. I just raised my arms in victory and walked out of the room. 😁

@NPC #34254334 Response: I don't know if you've beaten this game now, but it is a game that is unfair since they expect you to play this in 1 sitting without any passwords or continues. You have to know all the secret doors in this game, power up your guy to the fullest, find money and hope it doesn't glitch on you doing that brick to brick wall jump in the last level. If you miss something in this game because you didn't know where certain bosses were etc. You won't be beating this game.

Just played it & finished it after 28 years, it sucked. First few levels were novel, but that's it.

steve36207 did you know that if you continuously pressed pause you would get money and you could keep doing it. Takes about 50 pauses

Yes buddy :) I've never tried it though. I think you can press button 2 on a second control pad aswel

Did not know that. There was so much gear upgrades I had to make decisions on because of how money was in this game. Gonna replay this now with this trick

It took me a while to figure out hidden doors in this game among other things.

Easy way to do this part...I found out today actually...Buy Ceramic boots...You won't get stuck jumping back & forth.

Intentionally put there by the programmers to let the player know they were indeed on the right track:::wink:::wink:::nice little touch on their part! ;-)

Easy solution to that...Don't buy legendary boots at all do not get them either. If you still have the game or access to it....Buy ceramic boots... You will not get stuck and the jumping will be super easy... You should be able to do it in 1 try....

HAHAHA, those 3 games stole most of my pocket money!
