Master Your Overview 

I have overviewed the overview of the overview!

while more overviews is nice, you kinda gonna run out of space on screen. These are things thats are must have for most ships in most cases: d-scan, drone tab, overview, local chat, selected item, targets... I also like to keep location tab somewhere to immediatelly see if I got safespots in that system without rightclick, I also like to have separate chat window for fleet and chitchat, but want to see local at same time, in fleets you also need fleet window, in most cases you also want probe scanner signatures visible.. and eeeh, you starting to play text simulator, where you just control game over 10 different tabs, but cant see anything from space or combat :-D

Regarding the addition of new stuff, very easy solution to that, you store what not to show, not what to show. Then new stuff is automatically added.

16:43 - where it doesn't show the new stuff.. Seems like they could add some kind of functionality or a couple lines of code somewhere that just says to automatically add new stuff or anything not manually set just falls to some default setting.. That, or whenever something new is added, maybe on the player's first login after the addition, give them a pop-up asking how to filter it.. It just seems like I'm the kind of who would miss something important - like from not reading the patch notes or update news or whatever... And in online/MMORPG games, I am and always have been the super-solo, lone wolf type - so no allies to fill me in. My friend did get me started playing Eve several months ago but he said he's been playing since like 2005 so I think he got burned out again pretty quick after I started playing lol.. He did give me a massive boost on my very first day though - he gave me something like 10+ billion ISK - since he'd been playing on and off for like 10-15+ years, I guess he had hundreds and hundreds of billions of ISK - maybe even in the trillions.. I'm not sure. He said he would literally infiltrate corporations, gain their utmost trust, gain access to all of their items and/or ISK or whatever and then he'd steal it all, leave the corp, block everyone and sell the stuff. I thought that was a bit crazy and excessive - I'm like honest and loyal both in-game and in real life. But I think in our month or so of playing, he somehow went broke - just buying tons of new expensive ships and almost immediately losing them by being way too risky with PVP and low/null sec/WH...

We used to hack the overview tab by importing edited files to get more than 5 tabs. Actually was a big advantage for sitrep in a big fight having caps, cynos, dictors, logi all separately. Too many brackets chugged. Wonder if it still does. This, while still pretty jank is so much better lol.

just use default for unlisted features (programming-wise), save over to include new settings, no you dont have to even include the new settings, keep all as saved, and new stuff as default

гайд был бы нормальным еслиб показывал на примере - АНДОК ДЖИТЫ.... кораблики можно показывать на примере как исчезают как меняют свой тип и так далее. Но нет же почти все гайдоделы показывают это говно в нулях где нет ни кораблей ни вреков ... ни чего... 3 балла из 5ти( и такой комментарий можно тупо копировать почти 90% гайдоделов по обзорной панели)

They (CCP) further complicated it again. Why do they have to touch things that are working just fine? Now I have a mess, and a whole day to relearn how to fix it. Your tutorial is the most recent I could find, still, CCP has "updated" it again.
