Looks delicious. Good job . I’m about to get me a masterbuilt I’ve been smoking for years and always stick burn but i have watched the master for a year . I’m excited

@@lucasmustang66 I started off with a stick burner and still have a thick metal offset. I just love the ease of this grill

So this video is confirming my research on this smoker. Only people who use a decent amount of wood are getting a true bark that I’d normally get in a barrel or offset smoker. Many owners on RU-vid don’t use enough wood in their gravity. Great looking Brisket man!

I mean the thing was solid black before he put it in. Not saying it doesn't look good but how can you even tell what's bark and what's that gunpowder stuff

@@frygottobe652 I typically layer it. Start off with charcoal, then a couple chunks, the cover with charcoal and repeat until it’s full

That turned out perfect! I definitely think Masterbuilt is better than Treager. Two questions for you… Do you work for Masterbuilt? And do you live here in Arizona?
@ironsmoke-n-grill7861
@ironsmoke-n-grill7861 2 года назад
Thank you! I do not work for masterbuilt, I don't get paid or receive compensation for any of these videos. I simply enjoy cooking and decided to start this Chanel with support from my family. I live in las vegas

@@ironsmoke-n-grill7861 very cool. The yard and wall looks like most here in Arizona, that’s why I asked. It was your hat and shirt that had me thinking you might work for MB. I’m actually visiting the Vegas strip in a few days, little getaway from the rat race. Keep the videos coming.

@@jlc2324 yeah I'm actually sponsored on Instagram by them, but its not a paid sponsorship. I used to get new items from them for me to review online but the pandemic stopped everything amd haven't gotten anything since. Enjoy your trip!

You wrapped in foil and some I seen wrapped in butcher paper, whats the difference?
@ironsmoke-n-grill7861
@ironsmoke-n-grill7861 3 года назад
Iys just personal preference, I tried using paper before and I feel like the paper dried out my brisket. Paper absorbs a ton of juices. Some people say that foil takes away the bark, but I don't agree, I've never had any issues with foil. And I wont use butcher paper again either

what would you guess your weight was once trimmed?
@ironsmoke-n-grill7861
@ironsmoke-n-grill7861 3 года назад
Didn't weigh after trim, but I removed over 3lbs of fat so I would guess 13lbs after trim, more or less
