Hey guys, just wondering if from now on I should upload trailers in 4K, so covers like this in particular will be easier to see in higher quality and just look better for everyone. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Btw I usually try and get the best quality cover for each trailer I upload which is usually 1417x1417 but sometimes there just isn’t a hq photo so I have to grab it off the BF website which is only 600x600. If I only get ones of that resolution I’ll just upload them in 1080p. But it’s not that often.
Oh Yes! the reference to the seven dwarfs infers a pantomime and for me, the Masters are the ultimate pantomime villains. This put such a big smile on my face after a tedious day at work.
I hope this isn't the only time we get to hear Simm's Master with BigFinish. Since we're getting the Martha Jones spin off in December, if they make it multiple parts he could appear in that.
Bit of a surprise that they're going with the more manic characterization of the Saxton Master given the more toned down interpretation in The Doctor falls. I'm assuming the version at 0:30 is some variation of the Ainley Master, but I can't quite figure out which incarnation is the voice at 1:17.
@@jaytender4949 It feels like McQueen comes in around 0:39. Plus the Big Finish Twitter version of this trailer had on screen subtitles for each character by color and based on that, the voices are apparently not the same.
I truly enjoyed this, i am not a fan of the newer Masters that have been crazy for the sake of just being crazy, .... i have always preferred the gentlemanly , .... ahem cough i mean eloquent criminal (the pardon for Missy).
Nice point. Isn't that a rookie mistake? Act mad or erratic? The original Master, like Roberts Master oddly, was a quite deceptive evil because of his smooth and refined personality. What makes a villain terrorising is his or her actions because that exposes the person they're trying to hide from everyone.
It’s probably one of his better aliases. Most of his others are either an anagram for the Master, include the word “Master”, or is literally just “the Master” in a different language
@@EditedAF987 Indeed! If one was faced with "Gospodar", "Sir Gilles Estram", "The Reverend Magister", and "Bruce", who would you least expect to be Actually the Master? One feels bad for poor Tremas of Traken, doomed to be bodyjacked because his name fit so well....
@@solpintorizvi3089 That’s what I thought, but it just sounded slightly not like him for some reason, and then we got to the ‘we’re all the master’ bit and that was definitely Simm, which made me think that maybe the other guy was someone else.
@@madanotap6492 That's called writers cheating. And "Time Crash" is the exception because the 5th Doctor remembered his future self saving the day so he knew what to do when be WAS the 10th Doctor - who of course would be seen by his past self.
@@davidaston5773 How is it cheating? And Time crash was a children in need special, I don’t think we can judge them for not thinking too hard about it.
@@EditedAF987 "Big Finish chose not to renew his contract". Cancelled implies there was external pressure. He had a contract for three stories. After making those three stories, Big Finish decided not to hire him again. Probably because they have Trans Actors and Staff, and they didn't want to make them work with him. Still. Thats a risk with any job. Go around insulting coworkers, don't be surprised if they choose to hire someone else next time. No one is irreplaceable. I believe Milo Parker is playing a younger version of the same incarnation.
