No Munkidori version? Great video either way! I do think Munkidori will be the optimal way to play. Allowing no need for lux cape, letting drifloon do 330 plus moving damage to the opponent for a potential 360 with just a charm. Plus making flutter mane do 120 while turning off abilities and Scream Tail do 290 with just a charm is insane.
Yes they do stop iron thorns because iron thorns stops ex and raidants and vs but it doesn't stop basic flutter mane stop all active pokemon abilities and kelfkey stops all basic pokemon abilities includes ex pokemon
I think that Klefki is an easy cut from the deck. It's far too much of a liability for us. It doesn't provide nearly enough upside to keep it on the board. It can easily lose you the game against a Chien Pao or Lost Box deck and saves them from needed Cologne. I took it out and haven't missed it at all.
for me it has been the complete opposite, i recently added klefki and i haven't thought about removing it ever since xD but it's mainly because lax is roaming quite a bit on live (and it's also true that klefki could have costed me some games if my opponents had noticed), so it's definitely the first card that im cutting from my list after rotation
First time seeing your channel! This is incredibly thorough and overall helpful, and you have such a pleasant voice that is crucial for this type of long form content. Definitely earned a new sub!
40:01 after playing with garde against snorlax quite a couple of times on ptcgl, i'm of the opinion that blocklax is actually a favourable (or at least an even) matchup. Using your pre and post twm lists, the ideal board state is to have klefki, fluttermane, gardevoir, and 3 teleportation burst ralts on the bench , so that way they can't erika you since you have bench locked yourself (you can also go with a drifloon or scream tail if 2 of these cards are in the prizes, or if hisuian heavy ball is also there). Since garde plays turo and iono, it's not that hard to keep undesirable pokemon out of your hand, and once you have klefki on the active, you have more than enough time to set up since they will just be drawing a singular card per turn. After that, you just have to attack with gardevoir, and iono once in a while so it's more difficult for them to penny their snorlax back to back to back (and even then, there is a limited amount of turns that they can penny without having to shuffle supporter's back) The only thing that can be a problem is the mimikyu, since even though you can attack with gardevoir, if you already have an energy on klefki + the 3 ralts, they can then gust your gardevoir and you won't have enough energy to attack (at least, until you collapse one of your bench pokemon to have energy back on the discard pile, but i suggest just being careful with your energy attachments and forcing them to gust up your other ralts), but this stops being a problem post twm since most garde list will be playing 10 energy (8 psy 2 dark) This strategy has worked pretty well for me against all the snorlax decks roaming around now after stockholm (only lost once due to using all of my iono too soon to find the turo scenario and decking myself out before winning), so hopefully this tip works well for you too! (and also, amazing guide!)
@@CharlieTCG no problem! although one small correction that i would make to the strategy is to be careful about puting klefki into play without ways of picking it back up, since it could be mawile trapped and that can end up being their win condition, but most snorlax decks aren't even playing it anymore, so it should probably be safe!
