Happy Monday Lovelies! Another comment I wanted to make is I also have these on my online scheduling system when new clients book with me. That way they are aware PRIOR to coming in what to avoid and keep in mind for their service. You can also add this to your Instagram highlights or website. Hope this all helps! See you in the next one ❤️
This was fantastic. Thank you. I'm a 53 yr old former biochemist/physicist who wants to change careers and become a 100% cruelty free solo esthetician. I sometimes wonder if I'm too old to start this type of career now, although I take very good care of my skin.
You’re so welcome! And I had all age ranges in my esthetician class, even in their 40s and 50s. I think you being in your 50s is an advantage working with women and men your age! There’s a different level of trust! You should definitely go for it.
@@kristenmarieco Thank you! I'll be taking some of your classes for certain. I can tell you are going to be so successful in your career and life. You have such great energy...
I appreciate your comment sooooo much ❤️ I am also switching over to the beauty industry after being in my current career forever (it feels like), and I was a bit insecure about my late start. Kristen’s channel has been such a big part of this transition for me.
You'll be fine. The fact that you're a former biochemist is a major PLUS. You can work on all ages not just around your age. If you're knowledgeable and GOOD that's all that matters.
Usually whoever you’re insured through provides liability waivers! For example: I’m insured through ASCP in the state of Arizona and they provide all my consent forms! That way I don’t risk leaving anything out if I created my own. I’m not sure how it is other places but worth looking into to avoid being liable for a faulty form!
Yes that’s definitely an option too. Thanks for sharing! Mine was formulated off of multiple forms I’ve used in the past so I felt it’s pretty inclusive.
🌴🌺 Thank you!!! Appreciate the information just trying to make sure I got all my ducks in a row. I’m finally taking the leap and opening up my own spot. It’s been a long time coming and I trust you!
That makes me so so happy to hear. I really hope to continue to be that guide for you. Have a beautiful week and thank you for your comment and support ❤️
Kristen you've been my friend my teacher and mentor ❤️. I've been following and watching you grow! I've been growing with you step by step you help me reach my goal of going solo. Thanks to you that dream is now my reality. Peace ✌️ ☮️ & skincare to you!🥳💥💯 #blessingsonblessings
Hello God bless you Christen. I am new to your channel and a new licensed Esthetician. OMG I had a great teacher but you can always learn more from others. As far as starting up as a solo Esthetisian, etc…. So thank you for all you do, I’m learning a lot and pray I’m heading in the right direction with all the info I’m receiving. God bless and you stay safe as well love you my sister.
Hi Kristen I’m a newly licensed electrician from CA. I love your videos your so help, starting your own practice is soo overwhelming and I feel like I’m the beauty world there’s not a lot of help out there for us. So I appreciate all your help and videos I’m hoping to take one of your Courses!
Thank you so much for all your help Kristen, you are absolutely amazing and I love all your content. I am currently in school but will be done in March of 2022 and I plan to go Solo straight out of school. Videos like yours are so helpful ☺ 🙂
I loveeee your contents! 🙏🏽 thank you for everything you do. I am from Madison, WI and currently an esthetics student. I’m between going solo right away or work in a spa/salon for a year or two… I have done lashes for about a year and a half pre-Covid. So I have a smalllllll clientele. 🤔
Hey there! My name is Kathleen and I’ve just graduated from my esthetician program. Excited to gain knowledge through your experience and mostly learning from any mistakes you’ve made w/in the past year. I reaaaaallly would like to know how you would handle a late client being that the intake process can be around 10-15 min give or take. Like this would in turn push back the rest of your clients for the day no?
Im going to comment this one time, but honestly I dont often comment on your videos, (even though I have questions) because rarely do you respond. Very helpful video though, Im a hairdresser of almost 20 years transitioning into esthetics, and desperately need a crash course refresher, as I havent given a facial since cosmetology school, I have a job waiting, but dont want to start until I know exactly what im doing. Without going back to school... What short online courses or books cover the basics to get me started, while still addressing the latest trends, and ingredients, and techniques used today? Hope to hear back from you. Thanks for the video!
Thank you so much for this! I’ve been watching you since you started and I’ll be adding esthetics to my massage therapy business in January of 2022! You’ve been so helpful and your content has inspired me a lot through school ❤️
Hi Kristen, I'm a newly licensed esthetician in VA!! I watched your videos when I was in school and even now, as they're all super helpful. I was wondering where you got your custom embroidered uniform in this video from? Thank you!!
I’m in Los Angeles I graduate esthetician school this Thursday I have my own at home spa specializing in waxing I’m planning on going full time and quit my job next year so I can focus on my business … I was using the milady consent forms and stuff but I think imma switch over to this method instead thank u always for sharing 💚
This was soooo helpful, I'm 4 months from graduating a Master Esthetician program. I'd love some tips & tricks for studying for state board anatomy exc.
That’s so exciting! And honestly it’s just repetition for the practical. Do it over and over again. For the written I was reached out to by an app called the esthetician study exam guide center. It’s linked in my Pros and Cons video. Check it out!
Hi Kristen 👋 Would this be the same as OR can be incorporated into, a client consultation card? Meaning, can it be something they sign on the first visit only? Or does it have to repeated before every facial they have?
all due respect your waiver should include a hold harmless agreement or statement..also just for for future reference you may want to revise your one question on your waiver to include if the client has any metal implants at all...granted this would be more in the line if you decided to include body sculpting and cavitation or some other modality that may use microcurrent, RF or cavitation including HIFEM or HIFU
Hi I’m Savannah and I’ve been a solo esthetician since October 2021 and I’m still getting all my products together. Did you get a business loan when you stated ?
