Masters of the Universe: Revelation is kinda cringe 

I really hate the fact that during the going to hell episode, teela said that "im going to conquer my fear, im not going to let it control me" speech then literally the next episode, she's scared to talk to Adam like wtf? The animation was good, its just that the editing was jack shit.

Finally! Someone who is willing to speak their mind and not talk about politics. Someone who talks about both sides of a coin without being too indirect because of worrying about what others think about him. First video, instant subscription. :)

You surprise me like you did previously, I didn't think you'd be covering something like Masters of the Universe! Definately NOT displeased though. Your videos are always awesome!

I feel like nowadays regardless of political views; when you write a story, it has to make sense basted on the rules you established. When you make a character, (regardless of their gender, race, belief, etc.) you have to make them seem like a person. You have to do this in order to have the audience relate to them and find them believable as a person. But due to company’s trying too hard to make their characters as “appealing” as possible, they end up ruining their relatability (because when company’s try to make their characters “appealing” they make it so the characters either never struggle, are never seen as wrong, or never get put in a bad light).

Is it just me, or does no writer know how to write actual strong, independant women in media anymore?

The plot basically goes "women.. Am i right? " :v

Well I have a theory on Teela. In the original show Teela was very feminim, yet strong. She was no damnsel in distress. Beautiful, strong, very feminim. Then she began to use steroids, which slowly turned her beatiful feminim figure into manly and muscular She-Man. The steroid abuse left her emotionally unstable and aggressive and when she finds out that the girly manchild Adam, was infact He-Man, the man she wanted to be was too much for her. This reflection of how feminim Adam turns into ultra masculine He-Man was not unlike her own transformation from feminim woman into ultra masculine She-Man. This REVELATION, drove her insane as she realised it was magic, not steroids that gave He-Man his powers and so Teela began to hate magic, because in her mind; magic is the shortcut to gains, the gains she had to work hard and abuse steroids for, where Adam only needed magic sword.

Why do people that I see talk about this show keep saying that Adam is dead at the end of the first season? He wasn't dead at he end. Yes he was stabbed, but he was laying in pain the last time we see him. Unless you think his heart is on the wrong side.

It...was just a HUGE a** "Meh, let's ignore this sh*t exists." for me. Not good at all, not apocallyptically bad like for example the Star Wars sequels, just an unnessesary, mediocrically made, shameless cashgrab that spat into a character or two's face (something which is getting desensitisingly common nowadays). Then again, I wasn't really invested in this franchise so it was probably worse for bigger fans.

Excellent review, the goods and the bads; addressing problems that other reviewers pass, I just wonder how this Teela will face the fact that Sorceress is her mother and again everybody lied to her???? We will see another rage show or she will be mature and take her place as the new Sorceress of Grayskull. I'm actually crazy to see the second part, the action, animation, voice cast, music was amazing! I'm a MOTU fan, the only disappoint here (at least to me) was Teela's character development.

I kinda wish the he-man remake had been made by the same people as the she-ra remake. While it definitelty had its flaws, I loved that series so much more-

I think the core problem with this reboot is Teela's anger. She is so disproportionately angry that it's no longer believable, and that disengages the audience. The audience doesn't empathies with Teela or cheer for her to succeed. Instead she's seen as a massive jerk without any redeeming qualities. That is a recipe for failure.

10:25 Did you even pay attention to the story, the reason that Teela doesn't tell Adam what is going on is because she doesn't want him to sacrifice literal paradise. It wasn't so she can get back at him for not telling her that he was He-man. Like, you're just intentionally being obtuse, so you have a reason to excessively nitpick this series. Which is probably why this review aged like milk.
