@@dannywhite132 Completely legal. The US doesn't have a lot of laws regarding kart races in terms of how they're actually run. But depending on how fast the karts are and the perceived skill of the drivers, most places tend to staff marshals anyway. Seems this race was between a lot of skilled drivers, so they probably didn't anticipate needing a ton of marshals out (assumed they knew what they were doing enough not to cause trouble)
@@dannywhite132 The staff there is pretty small, and they had just lost a staff member. The track is super fun everything else is questionable compared to other tracks
@@Wildcat12 The seniors and masters classes tend to consist mostly of regulars or other experienced drivers, and we do have corner lights which is not nothing...
