I totally get not LOVING this era if you're a new fan. For those of us who started following them in the early days, we're all just grateful that they keep giving us new music, and we get to hear them "getting older" with each one. Opeth is a similar band that went from black metal to 70s fusion-prog over a span of 25 years.

Dude. So Mastodon is one these bands I've tried to get into for years and it finally *clicked*. It's such a cool unique experience to watch somebody else go through the same journey. You rock out f***in hard and your first impressions are bang on. This channel deserves to be huge. Keep it up.
