Picture this scene… Sitting on a luxury yacht, docked at the Cannes marina and listening to Christian share knowledge on all things perfumery (that selfie in this Mate Talk was me realising in that moment how surreal this was, that I need to take a photo)..and yes, Christian shared a lot about the innovation coming out of the Middle East, which is pretty exciting to see with brands like Sospiro and Salas♥️ BTW Amore Torrido....oh mamma🥰 (wait till you test this beauty out!!!) I own Erba Pura Magica. Sometimes I think it smells way too much like women’s shampoo. Then I smell it and it’s amazing. Odd stuff.

Enjoyed rhe vid Marcello! There's two of the new Sospiros which grabbed my attention... Cadenza, which I have, and am really enjoying on the hot days we're having. I get a lot of lily of the valley, a fair bit of greenery and sone rather dusty woods. The other white floral components are very present and integral (and not indolic at all ti my nose, more on the fresh side), but overall I'd say it veers in a clean aromatic direction. In the heat, it performs beautifully as well. Pasticcio also, which is really a stunner. Seems like a musky sandalwood/iris type thing on the surface, but there's a lot more going on there, though I've not got my head around more than a basic idea of what's happening (which is fun!). Almost sure to acquire a bottle of this come autumn. Glad the hand's better man!

I love these descriptions Edward! And yes, Cadenza would be perfect in the heat...will make it a point to wear it over the warmer days coming up and see if those green elements pop on me. My mrs has the same reaction to Erba Leather 🤣 I cannot wear it when she is around… I am taking it to the states to wear during winter but I do have a question about what occasion? oh my god i'm so shocked that i showed up i always wanted to show up but i wasn't expecting it ahahaha Vibrato and pasticcio were the ones that piqued my interest the most and I was also curious at the end with Crepuscolo Scintillante looking forward to hearing your opinion on it as well as Blonde amber ( still anxiously waiting ). Hi Marcelo, Glad to hear you hand id improving. I keep hearing about Vibrato so I've added a sample to my basket for next payday. Got my samples from Jovoy, unfortunately Les jeux sont fait has something herbal that doesn't work on me, so the search goes on for a boozy one for winter but I can't believe I waited so long to try Psychedelique and Incident diplomatique, love those!

I was complaining in this episode about El Moncayo, but it's in fact really good. The flavour holds for a long time! Takes a bit more time to prepare (have to do it the Uruguay still, like Carlos shared on the video that one time) but once prepared it's awesome; definitely one that I will be buying again Great to hear from you mate💫

Awesome to hear from you, Arturo…OK this is me coming clean; I don't own Nefs🙄 I have tried it, but so far I'm not a convert to this fragrance. I know that there's a lot of love for this perfume, I know that it's a big hitter....but not for me so far. However, I know that there's been other fragrance's that I haven't fallen in love with at the start that I revisit and then think to myself "what was the problem???" Would love to hear your thoughts on Nefs...clearly this is a winner for you! Looking forward to hearing from you @arturoiiiperez7080

Hiya , goid video on SOSPIRO...i purchased VIBRATO and BASSO....love them . I regularly watch your videos and get good information on what I need . I was wondering if you could tell me a bit about WIDIAN 71 LIMITED EDITION EXRAIT ( 2022 ) am i correct in saying that they only had 900 bottles made for this fragrance and what's the concentration percentage in it . Great to hear from you Mohamed and welcome my friend!💫 Ensemble isn't one that I have in my collection so I can't share in depth about this at all. I did notice that it's one from their 1st iteration (created in 2017 by Chris Maurice) but it doesn't seem to be part of the current line up....so not sure on this Mohamed🤷🏽‍♂️ I can confirm that the current release's are all powerhouse fragrance's (I own 6, and love them all!) Great to hear from you Cameron. In Australia we don't get the full collection of fragrances that the US and Europe have… As a result we don't have any of the ATH fragrances. I have tested a few and do enjoy them a lot but I don't own any of them. I had the chance to borrow a friend of mine Discovery set and I did this lineup: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PbO5MaGGfzY.html These are the ones that really popped for me. Despite being an Aussie, I have a few ATH things (onyx, tabac, boss bastard raw cherry) though it's tricky to sample and buy it is possible I'm a big fan of his stuff. If I were to characterise the limited amount I'm familiar with I'd say that what he does is very upfront, deceptively straightforward seeming, and composed of high quality materials. It's quite nerdy techno-perfumery on one level with everything very catefully constructed in service of scents which seem to a certain extent (but aren't particularly) designerish in scent profile. While seeming a bit like amped up designers, there is a pastiche of European and Middle Eastern characteristics, and the way he puts his formulas together leads to a level of complexity and shifts in structure that are characteristic of good niche stuff. Only my thoughts based on limited experience, so take with a grain of salt. If you enjoy his style I'm of the opinion that his stuff is high quality, interesting, and good value.

Marcelo! Glad to hear you're on the mend, all the best. I had carpal tunnel surgery as well many years ago with an ulnar transposition at the same time. Ugh, not missing those days whatsoever! Won't be long before you can hold a bottle and spray with either hand! Sospiro sounds wonderful, I have never sampled in this lifetime.

Cheers Marcelito! 🧉 I bought Erba Leather but unfortunately just like Vibrato they disappear on my skin, meaning projection is very weak. But I’m an exception when it comes to Sospiro and Xerjoff, but I found a fragrance from Tiziana Terenzi called Rosso Pompei which is like a fruitier much stronger version of Vibrato(to my nose), I’m curious to know if you tried it.

Hola Hermano, interesting that your skin eats up the Sospiro and Xerjoffs!! That would be very annoying! I wonder why?? Aany thoughts on this? Curious, do you moisturise your skin prior to spraying these brands? I haven't tried anything from Tiziana as we don't have this brand in Australia (only via an online retailer but no boutique to test), so I don't really know this brand that well. Every time I travel to Europe, I see the bottles but so busy with a million things that in the end I never test these guys out… However, I've heard many great things. Great to hear from you Gus and I would love to know more regarding the questions that I asked…this whole thing as me intrigued🤔
