I first heard it on Grey's Anatomy, and The Vampire Diaries, and I saw that it was also played on Scrubs so i came back and watched the episode again. It doesn't matter how strange or unrealistic the storyline of a show is, it's the music that makes it great. and Scrubs is truly the greatest, in all respects.
Dear guys having a baby with a woman they don't love (same the other way around or for gay/lesbian relationships, but I will adress it to just guys to simplify it): You don't have to stay with the woman! You absolutely have to stay with the kid, but not with the woman. That means, if course, that you have to find some arrangements with the woman, have open talks more regularly to keep similar parenting strategies as you can't just watch each other, and you can nether speak badly about your partner or behave uncivil or disrespectful towards them where the kid might hear/see you or even hear about it. But don't abondon the child, ever. Psychologically speaking, it is better for the child in a long-term aspect if they grow up in a, for instance, divorced household with civil parents, then a household where the parents don't love each other. The fact alone that the child will better understand nothing-but-civil behaviour in a seperated household rather than in one pushed together and learn how to love and now how to be a family in the future is a big factor alone.
I mean that's what JD realized in the end. He breaks up with Kim (at the worst possible time.. as usual for the Character) and basically has the same reasoning as you 😁 Thats what i love about the show.

No. It wont be good for the Child. Ofc you can hope to develop deeper feelings but that aint gonna happen in most cases. Just stay on good terms with the Mother, work out a healthy parenting plan togheter and pay child support :P
I have and now 3 kids in she loves me to death and I didn’t love her back but I’ve decided to change that I’ll stay with her whether I want to or not I’m deciding to love her

@@pandakatiefominz ok but in real Life IS very strange that this could happen. Since the begining wear condom and then you dont have to be with someone you dont want. Anyways i know couples that have a Child and they are not together so nobody does what JD says
You get along with the girl and you think you're being forced to stay simply out of paternal duty? I don't know what "love" JD is realistically looking for. I mean he didn't love Elliot when he had her either and dumped her all the same.
