Yes, him and Bret are the stars. Have you noticed how much Charles HATES Richard? He gets easily offended on screwing with him, and one episode they showed Charles flipping him off
@@deanstrand4260 It's why the show changed the bonus round to a spin the wheel. Charles and Brette were super pissed off and jealous Richard most often getting selected. Then Richard handled it by insulting back verbally in a clever way. Richard had the best talent on the show. Reason why he was offered Family Feud. Nobody on Match Game could do better And an interesting fact... Most were drunk on the show but Richard has never once taken a sip of alcohol in his life. He only pretended to be intoxicated on Family Feud certain seasons to help failing views.
@@shac9131 I would say Brett, Charles AND Richard, all 3 are the stars of the show. It's obvious others on the show didn't like Richard as he is obviously borderline cocky, but hes a pretty funny guy.

I Love watching these old episodes of Match Game!! When I was a kid Match Game and Hollywood Squares we’re both so funny!!! There was no “Politically Correct” filter, the stars just let it rip!! I often find myself answering 1975 questions with my 2020 knowledge, it really doesn’t work!!! I’m glad I found this!!!
When I was growing up in the 1960s, Andy Williams had a very popular variety show. His Christmas show, in particular, was a big deal. He seems to be totally forgotten nowadays.

She tried hard to be funny, but it just didn't come across for me. That insult comedy she tried is not a good look for women, however Joan Rivers mastered it very well and you ain't no Joan, Brett ☹️
