@@sdlively27 how do you know for sure? I like trying to figure out the dates. I know it was taped in mid May or so, because in episode 476 Gene mentioned that Patti would be having her baby soon and in earlier episodes they said she was due in June,
Several possible reasons for that. Vietnam War, civilian men busy working to support their family, more women applied to be on the show, etc. One time this subject came up on the show, and Gene said it was because of the producer's strong libido.
@@deanstrand4260 Yeah, I honestly wonder if some of the contestants were harassed, especially after I saw Kirstie Alley as a contestant. She was talking about harassment in the business back in the 90s before the Me Too movement. But yeah, I forgot that the war in Vietnam was still going on for part of the show's run.

@@lesburns7395 I still have an electric lawn mower that was built in 1992. I have used it to mow weeds that were a foot tall. Gas-powered mowers can't begin to mow what I have mowed with that electric mower. I will never buy a gas powered lawn mower again.
