I read some comments in an earlier show that said it was referencing a horror/comedy movie from the late 60's. Think it was called Monster House Party or something similar.

You're shocked that this episode wasn't banned? Why should it have been banned? Just because Gene said "bus" didn't necessarily give it a racial connotation. Gene also sat next to Barbara McNair, and said: "It's dark over here." Barbara said: "Hey, wait a minute.." Barbara was very pretty and very classy, but she was either trying to be funny or she read something into Gene's remark. In any event, stop trying to apply political correctness to something that is almost 50 years old. PC didn't exist at that time. There was nothing racist said here. Even if there had been, banning the episode wouldn't change anything.

it's 2021 now this show would be banned! Gene always welcomes "the new kid on the block" with a smooch on the lip. He never kissed the black chicks. The back of the bus comment, Gene says that a lot. MG is racist, but hilarious

Greg Lauer ikr. I seen an episode where he made te same joke to te black guy that sits in te first chair sometimes. He had a good comeback. He said I OWN THE BUS GENE!!
