I don't think any of the celebrities on the panel would have guessed we would be watching and laughing with this show in 2021. I'm so glad to have these shows to brighten my day.

I so agree with the choice of Match Game. There is nuclear kind of interplay which occurs during each individual show. It challenges your mind and tickles your funny 'blank'.
I loved 1976! and the lead up starting in '74 and '75 Most patriotic I've ever been, and probably ever will be. As matter of fact, I've noticed how many people nostalgically identify with the confederate or the "Unite Or Die" or the "Don't Tread On Me" flags. Well my American identity is symbolized by the "President Ford" Bicentennial Star. Bye bye Miss American Pie...
Harry Reynolds performed under the stage name "Reynaldo Rey" as a comedian, actor, and television personality. When I saw him I recognized him from one of the Redd Foxx "Dirty Jokes" Standup Comedy Specials.
Only 1978's was taped anywhere near that far out (early November). 1975 and 1977 were taped in late November, 1973, 74, and 76 were taped in mid-December. MG-HS isn't currently known, but could be similar to 75 + 77 - late November or early December. As for 90, no idea - though I suspect that wasn't taped that far out either.
Why can't we have shows like this today in 2020 because everyone would say dirty words in some of the blanks it wouldn't be funny then and all the great ones on here have passed on or are very old. Either way never be like this again in this world we live.

I often wonder what life is like for the contestants after the show- like Courtney, how long did it take her to get back home since her car blew up and she lost the show? Lol also, looking at the contestants, so many were really young- their now in their 60’s! Lol
I just looked again. 18 commercials is definitely a non-starter! In fact, 2 per hour is my limit. So, any more than 6 or 7 for this clip is a deal breaker!

Yeesh...the way 1975's game went, it should have been a cakewalk for the challenger, both the champion's questions came back with panel splits whereas they mostly agreed with each other for the challenger's, and yet it still went to a scoreless tie! BTW - is Gene correct that that was a first for MG?
