I'll test some simpler ways to film the rimfire matches and still bring helpful content! But yes, it's not fair to ask Dory to use so much concentration for filming now that she wants to do her best at the matches and focus on her performance.
Even your quick product reviews are excellent & in depth with great detail, love your videos & Thanks for sharing this content, this old fudd appreciates it !!
Matt, What did you think about the Scopemate? The price is a lot more reasonable than the Triggercam. Is the price difference worth it for a novice non-influencer?
I like your content always very informative. I’ll be at nationals next month looks like dori is in my squad I’ll get to meet you there if the squads don’t change. Looking forward to it. See you there.
It must has been a tough qualification or you have a bad day, nonetheless you are top notch and your videos are the best. Congratulations to Dory and best wishes for the match
nrl "canada" only had top 6 shooters in the country qualify, and it went by score, not by % of top shooter. so when you have to shoot 6 make up matches throughout the winter its hard to post high scores....
I just switched to the spexlite schmedium. I noticed a little less stability but swapped out half fill for sand making it 50/50 and it’s much better. Still lighter than my sand pint sized
Really interested in the spexklite stuff, they seem to have different options as well. new scope mate gets the job done but the triggercam seems to give better output
I’ve been trying the spexlite fill in a Celtic precision battleaxe XL as a void filler bag. Your footage seemed to backup my findings currently that a heavy bag feels more stable to me, but the light fill bags are great for quick movements etc. p.s dory for world champs in uk this time round? 🤔🤔. Hope to see you both over here.
@womfat One option would be to mount a 360 camera to your tripod and then let it record while you shoot. Since it kinda just records everything, you don't really need someone pointing the camera.
I look forward to your videos and maybe you can do a rundown on the new Vudoo and Dory’s CZ the critique and how you upgraded each. I could not see a difference on the video quality from the scope cams.
Hi Matt, hey Scopemate sent me one of there cameras also and it has been nothing short of a disaster. Mine has a screen built onto the top of it. The video is very jumpy, like the processor is not fast enough. I’ve been working with them trying to resolve the issues. Is the video footage choppy or jumpy on your camera?
Hi, yours is a different model with night vision. We have not yet found in our hands and therefore we are eagerly waiting for your log file in the SD card to find the root reason to fix the bug and then update the firmware to your NVS18. Thanks.
I find the quality needs to be improved a bit, but it sounds like they're working on it. I noticed while reviewing the footage, many frames have a 'double image' that sort of blurs the footage. They said they're looking into it. No doubt the triggercam outputs better video right now, it has a 4K sensor instead of the S18's 2.7K
@@Womfat Hi Matt, we have received your raw video file, we find there is NO double image in each frame of the video, maybe your video editor software is not very friendly with Scopemate. 😂 😂
Took a couple of screenshots to compared the footage.. TriggerCam certainly has the brighter colours and better contrast. Focus looks slightly off on the Scope Mate too.
It's an awesome chassis, one of my favorites for sure. My other Vudoo is still in it, I'm just putting the new rifle through it's paces in the ACC Elite
Quick question about the scope mate. If I had a top mounted dot on the scope, would you be able to see the read dot over the scope mate? I’ve had 2 triggercams and 2 broke and I hated the transferring of the files. It was a nightmare to transfer when.
I've only had great luck with my triggercam, what issues did you have transferring files? I could use a 12o'clock red dot with the triggercam or scopemate because I run them at a 45deg angle to the right, still enough clearance for my bolt handle, but gives me clear line of sight to my turret (or red dot above). I straighten the footage in post for the videos.
@@Womfat I run the Nightforce ATACR 4-16 and the whole housing rotates as I change the magnification. When I do 2-gun comps, I generally run it on low power so the triggercam would not get in the way because it was facing left and when I do IWI comp, I shoot mainly on 16x, so it wouldn’t get in the way. The only time it might get in the way would be on 8x because I don’t know if the scope mate would block the red dot. The issues I had was transferring the files. Sometimes the export would just quit and sometimes the files would get corrupt. I never had any issues with my Tactacam or Insta360 Go3. I wanna get back to doing videos, but I didn’t like the issues.
Doesn't look like it, as fun as they were they were apparently a nightmare to run and not enough venues to host all the events. So CRPS takes priority in that series.
