@@BrandonandStacyHunt It has been great hunting squirrels with this camera. This year I finally got a deer with it, but the sunlight made it pretty washed out looking. Again, thanks for the great advice on getting it setup.
Great video, just got mine this weekend and it does take few time to get used to it…. I got it on the nose few time 🤦♂️ and with my .300 wing mag every 4,5 shoots the cam was sliding out
Super helpful, been having trouble getting mine focused just right challenge is on scopes without parallax like on my .22 but works great on my Creedmoor which has a better scope.
Like the video. My question is this. Do you look thru the scope and adjust the dioplar for a clear in focus reticle like you normally would? Or are you compensating the dioplar focus to make the image clear with the FTS?
I have a tactacam 4.0 i use it on purple wich is zoom so i can see everything better what is the best settings for the best quality and its still zoomed in and performs well when its dark in the mornings and evenings
Thats pretty sweet. I got a question though, do you look through the scope or the phone screen when you shoot? By the way it looks there isn't much eye relief with the camera on the end of the scope.
has anyone had the same experience as i have that when you are at your last 5 to 10 minutes of shooting light the tactacam 5.0 does not give me a actual video just a black video when camera is mounted without using a FTS unit Does using a FTS allow you to record right up to last schooling light as I am able to view through my scope right up to last shooting light
I agree with the previous comment about about well and detailed explanation. I normally see the videos with "circled view". How do you get your video in rectangular view?
So I bought a scopecam for airsoft awhile back, since it was $120 vs $550....do you think I could buy the FTS and utilize the scopecam that way? If so I'd get the best of both worlds. Regardless, thanks for the video
Has nothing to do with scope zoom. Using the app need to zoom the camera to your liking. While connected in top left corner should see awg, press it a slider will come up and you can slide to zoom. It will stay that way until you change it in the app again.
Awesome explanation, one question. If you record in 4K, and post the video on social media aftwr, does it show up blurry, is that why you record in 1080? Thanks!
How do you keep it from absolutely wrecking your nose with the basically nonexistent eye relief? I’ve used multiple scopes and even on my .223 it still smacks the bridge of my nose, making it unusable.
@ 2:00 What Mode and settings were You at ? I used mine last year for first time in my RU-vid video and is very small. I did not realize till after watching your video you could make field of view LARGE . Do You have any videos in whatever mode/settings You were in ? Thanks ,Richard
Irregardless of mode that is a zoom function only accessible in app. So connect to app you should see “AWB” in upper left corner. Click it slider will pop up and u can zoom. Will stay zoomed til changed with app.

@@coyotecomando1 sorry AWB, upper left corner of preview. Can text or email you a pic with it circled. Upper left by battery level indicator. When you tap it slider pops up on bottom of screen.
@@BrandonandStacyHunt thanks boss, I found it. When I click on the icon on my Samsung android phone the bar on the bottom doesn't appear, nothing happens. I tried my girlfriends I - phone and the bar does appear when I click the icon. Strange!.. Thank you
I don't know man. I can see best through reticle when focus is not twisted out at all. In order to get clear video, I have to twist focus like half way out to max. By that time, my eye doesn't see anything. I don't wear glasses, have really good eyes, and I find this to be a problem while finding the "happy median"
You just have to move it around and hold in place when it’s as best to center as possible while you tighten camera into mount. Hold with one hand while tightening with the other
Dealing with this now, when camera "sees" good, I can't, when I see good, camera is wack. The "happy median" for me is mediocre video, while straining my eye to the max trying to see the cross hairs.
@@BootTrackStories yeah, that’s what I was afraid of. There’s a scope camera called “shot cam” or something like that out of South Africa and it has a mechanical adjustment so you can dial it in for your vision. Let me know if you fix the problem somehow.
@@BrandonandStacyHunt I've had it for almost a year now and love it. I know a lot of people that are throwing their spypoints in the garbage or actually shooting them and switching to Tactacam.
My crosshairs are not even close to center with everything straight and snugged down. Appreciate the video but this product is straight trash for the price.
