Great stuff. Fire trucks are the best. I used to pretend my bed was a high-rise building on fire and I'd dig out all my Matchbox fire vehicles to come to the rescue. Cue "Beds Are Burning" by Midnight Oil!
Very interesting. I think my favorite was the 1995 red “van” looking one with the chrome pumps on the roof. This was very impressive Tyrone. I like fire trucks, but was surprised how much I really enjoyed this video.
Amazing collection man....I haven't even seen some of these models before ! Diecast Dude recommended this video to me, because he knows I collect firetrucks. 👍🇦🇺🚒
Beautiful collection! Fire and rescue are always a welcome addition to a collection. Police Cruisers are welcome as well. However Matchbox had some Rescue Ambulances🚑, the Square boxed versions in white with orange coloring or deco. Those are the elusive older ones I really want to find. Those were just so awesome in appearance. Also 🔥Hot🔥Wheels🔥has a premium Rescue vehicle from the Retro Entertainment series I also really like. That's more of a nostalgic love more than anything. As a little boy my Mom and I watched a show called Emergency. Squad 51 was the station and truck number. They made a Emergency Rescue truck from that series. I saw it once and I foolishly passed on it. It was $8.00 back then. Maybe 5 or 6 years ago. But I am hopeful....lol. Seriously though, your fire truck collection is amazing! I really enjoy seeing what people have found over the years. As I've said there were a chunk of years I didn't collect. So I missed some really nice Matchbox and Hot Wheels brands. I'd love to see a 4x4 truck collection if you collected those types of trucks. Thanks again for all your dedication and hard work! 🙏 Your channel is very appreciated! Take care, be safe, and God Bless.
Thanks, Edster III. These collection type videos take a long time to make but are the most rewarding. Matchbox has a massive catalogue of emergency vehicles so I’ll probably do another one in the future. 4x4 trucks would make a cool video. 👍🦘😎
My fire collection is: -'70 unknown model fire engine -Unknown year Condor Chemical engine (Guessing early to late 60s) -'73 ladder truck -'77 Chevrolet van ambulance -unknown year LAFD cheif car -'73 Cadillac EMS supervisor -Unknown year fire engine (Guess late 20s- early 30s) -'78 LAFD helicoptor -'91 MACK auxillary power truck and finally, unknown model or year tiller (Guessing late 80s-early 90s)
The campervan also had an interesting Deco in the late 90s it was all black with radiation symbols on it. Kind of like a Hazmat unit etc. Also I swear it true, there was also a white NASA version to boot?
Absolutely love this. I have always collected any of the rescue vehicles (Police, Fire, Ambulance). Seriously doubt I could afford to gather the collection you have, but good for you. Super jealous/envious. Cheers from US
Thanks for watching, Stephen. I'm glad to know you're enjoying my videos. Yep, there's something about emergency vehicles that gets a lad's heart quickening. Love them.
A great collection. I'm new to this. My 7 year old special needs son lives for matchbox fire trucks. I was looking for some help finding a tiller truck. If you could suggest were I can look it would be much appreciated.
Be careful, Carl…so many have stood at the edge of this rabbit hole, collecting for a friend or loved one. Before you know it, these little cars have snuck into your life and multiplied! 🤷♂️😂 Facebook Marketplace is a good place to look. But if you’re looking for something in particular, eBay will have it. Though the latter can be the most expensive way to go. If your son doesn’t mind play worn vehicles, thrift shops are every collector’s treasure hunt. 🦘👍
Hello there, David from TWYCE sent me over! You have a great channel! I too am a fan of Matchbox, if you could not tell but the name. But i have taken on a love for Tomica recently, I can’t bring my self for a name change. I am excited to see your collection grow!
Great to have your company, thanks for joining. Matchbox is the big draw for me in the world of diecast but (shhh) I do collect Tomica and other brands too, as well.
I understand that someone in Australia collects Firetrucks 🙂 The ones from Majorette are very nice! Do you have enough material for a matchbox military episode? 😉
