I'm not a Mathews guy by any means. I think they are overpriced, overhyped, & have a strange fan boi cult following... That said This years Lift is legit, it has an awesome draw cycle, is phenomenally light, & well balanced in the hand. I have to give Mathews props on the Lift 👏
Hey, don’t sit in My Chair. But it’s only My Chair on the Saturdays that I’m there. I have the knowledge and Mason & Austin are great Bow Mechanics. And the Fanchers are proud of them. JD Owen’s is Blessed to have them. I’m there only for Stories and Knowledge.
I picked up my new LIFT 29.5 last Tuesday (Nov 28th). Shot it the day they came out and put my order in the same day. I went with Earth color, 29 in draw @ 70lbs. Also bought the Mathews low Pro Detachable quiver, Mathews 8 inch Bridge lock stabilizer both in Earth color and the MX2 rest. This replaced my VX3 29. Slade, one thing I did notice is that Mathews must have made the hood a little longer, because the ramcat broadheads are no longer exposed. I know you mentioned that in one of your previous videos. Hope you have a great day my friend. Brian R
I went and shot every new now out there over the past month. Ended up narrowing down to Lift or PSE. Went with lift because it has so many more features. Had it 2 days and loving it. Probably put a few hundred arrows thru it already. Love the videos.
Hello Rick! How’s it going?? Really appreciate this comment and the mathews brand is just hard to beat. I miss being a round the ole bow shop for sure. Thanks so much for watching
Our Son toured MSU a few years back and I wanted to swing by Owens (when you were there full time) but didn’t have time. Hope to track you down over there some time. You and Jason at Hollis need to do a reunion event.
modern bow, increased massively in price, with no real improvement at all in accuracy since 2005 so funny, less fast then 2009 bow. light bow like carbon bows, need very heavy stabilser to help, funny they end up heavier then 4.5lb bows. new sights vs bows? sight’s massive improvements, bows declined in speeds, easy to tune without changing flip flop shims, dont even shoot as accurate as the switchback rofl. want a lift for the novelty but doubt it replace any bows i own
last chances, over 2700 dollars aud. can buy better with press, draw, swivels for 750 dollars. why try to rip off other countries america suck. last chance bow press can made for 50 dollars, what a joke
