No it was an actual actor you see trunchbull had to go through a lot of training and amanda had a strap on her and there was handles that trunchbull held on to and grabbed the strap but grabbed here hair first the strap and then trunchbull put her hands in the shoulder of the coustume so the strap is to visible and then there is a blackout to get amanda off stage theennnnnn there is a doll that falls from the masking and then the actors gather up to get the real amanda onstage so it seems real
