I feel like the majority of interiors now is so serious. That’s why I love Matilda, her house is fun and joyful. I’ve watched this series at least once a week for months now. Trying to absorb her talents 🙈😂

Yes. Let's watch more! I live in Guatemala so no vintage stuff here but some antiques and I can get anything made with wood or iron. Basically, hand the guy a photo and they make it. I've had iron beds made, a cedar sleigh bed, book shelves, teak bathroom vanity top. Lots of talented craftsmen here.

I have been marathoning the absolute shit out of House & Garden lately. Especially the Design Notes series. Alexandra Tolstoy, Flora Soames, and Robert Kime are my personal favorites. Please do more of these vids! Love that European/English decor vibe.

I am obsessed with Mathilda Goad’s style and especially her garden 🙌🏾 The first time I watched that series I was mesmerized. The Design Notes series is an absolute bag of design inspiration as well.

The English have such a good design style. I feel like they are so much more willing to be playful and mix prints and styles. There also always seems to be a nod to heritage that isn’t overwhelming but grounds the space in history.

My favorite is the “quintessence” channel. I think you would really enjoy it. It is a celebration of people that love interior design and tours of their homes.

I love the Matilda Goad series! The channel Never Too Small also features really cool designers.

The House & Garden UK videos are my favorite, you are in for such a treat! I would also recommend the Une Fille Une Style series from Vogue France. It’s a bit more fashion focused, but has some amazing interiors too. I would especially recommend the Malu Dalla Piccola episode (her apartment is so gorgeous).

Since I was little I have lived in rented houses, now I will finally have my own house and your videos accompanied me throughout the process. Thanks to you, I feel that my home will be precious ❤️❤️❤️

I bumped into them a few months ago and even though it's not my overall personal style, I love what she did, makes sense as an English cottage vibe, and it's so creative and cozy. House & Garden has featured her several times. I too love the English country style with just a bit of modern eclecticism in it. I can't bear another minimal, neutral, midcentury place. I follow very few Instagram decorators because they all look the same. Most Insta-designers seem to have zero personal style. They all seem to get their inspiration from the same source. You... on the other hand, have such good, fun, personal style. I actually look forward to your videos.... and I am 60 years old, girl!

I loved watching you talk about her space! It makes me want to start working on certain rooms in my own house

It’s interesting because she uses a lot of very trendy colours and styles (that green, the terra cotta on the shelf unit, the star pendant lamp) but she executes it in a very grown up way that I haven’t seen with other people with similar styles (Alexandra Gater specifically loves the terra cotta and green but her styles tend to skew more juvenile). I also LOVE the terra cotta shelf but I can’t get behind the fact that it juts out past the wall. For a piece they most likely had a carpenter make specifically for that spot I don’t understand why they didn’t downsize it a little to fit into that nook better. Great video as always Paige, love your work!! ❤️

i agree with you when you said to keep the original fireplace, i have an original fireplace and it is my favorite part of my home, i get so many compliments about it.

*Mixing Prints and Patterns* . Paige, I stepped outside of my comfort zone and threw in some "unexpected" for Spring/Summer 2022. I always enjoy working with a tight color palette, but this season I brought in more prints. *Game Changer* . My living room and dining room are adjacent and bringing in the color from outside in matters due to the large picture windows. More please.

What I love about this series is just the seamless execution which in reality would have taken so much forethought and multiple shooting days across months or years. So you get to see her change her mind about things and redo some areas. That reflective evolution of a home is rarely captured like this and renovating/decorating a home myself, it is refreshing to know I can take risks and change my mind later.
