The fact that Neo's answer is to walk into a building filled with innocence people just trying to make an honest living as security guards and kill all of them as brutally and mercilessly as possible and he's still the hero. It kind of makes Agent Smith's speech even more poignant in contrast.
@@dakidvision There is no "Real World" everything that happens is happening within the Matrix. Cypher, along with the rest of the crew, went into a trance state and Agent Smith contacted Cypher directly in his mind. This would be what Cypher and other humans would perceive as their "dream state". Knowing that Cypher was the weak link, Agent Smith lured him into acting in the manner with which was neccessary to have their plans happen in a way that makes logical sense within the confines of their perceived reality. The machines put too much effort into crafting a form of the Matrix that rebellious minds would accept as reality when they made the Zion program, so they have to approach it as if it were separate in order to maintain the illusion. It's obvious really, the Wachowski's zoomed into the code as Cypher's conversation with Neo ends, then cuts directly to Cypher eating with Smith in "The Matrix", then cuts back to Cypher serving the crew their meal aboard the Nebuchadnezzar in "The Real World". It's poetic.

Idk about that; the Architect himself described the matrix as "a harmony of mathematical precision". And if you can harness hardware/software with enough processing power to simulate an entire planet with billions of people in it seamlessly, then i seriously doubt injecting a little Dynasty Warriors dna into an alleyway would be enough to generate lag/rendering issues XD XD XD

The Matrix inside a Matrix theory comes in when people need it to "explain" the unexplained, but the idea isn't supported by the movie at all, nor is it ever referenced by anyone who actually made the Matrix movies.
The Agent Smith being “The One” actually makes sense. The matrix within the matrix also does too, so if the new movie goes that route. It makes sense from the different Oracle to Neos new powers outside of the matrix. People will be mind blown
I know you need content but who ever did this video didn't do enough research ! neo was born in the matrix ! he died and was reborn when Agent smith killed him in the hallway . Neo changes the matrix all the time which is how he's able to fly and "see" the matrix raw code for what it is .

The original idea for the matrix had humans being used as components in a computer in order to maintain the complexity of the matrix but the Executives at Warner thought it was to complicated for that time so The Wachowskis changed it
And...just hear me out please, The Middle Earth (Hobbit and Lord of the Rings) universe is also part of the Matrix as Agent Smith is also Elrond who influences Gandalf, Frodo,Bilbo, and Thorin Oakenshield. He wants the Arkenstone to remain unfounded (a part of the Matrix) as well as The One Ring of Power to be destroyed (another part of the Matrix). Wow, amazing how we're able to think so clearly now being in quarantine.

Really good thoughts here. Never thought about Morpheus, but makes total sense. The Oracle was a program written by machines to ensure the cycles continue, but what if humanity needed a little nudge trusting a program i.e. double agent. Morpheus is a borderline zealot for the Oracle🤔🤔🤔

My theory: The One is whoever believes they are The One. The Oracle (who made The One program) said it's like being in love, it's just somethign you know. Also, as Morpheus tells us, the Oracle tells you what you need to hear. She told Morpheus he would find The One. she told Trinity she would fall in love with The One. What is Trinity could have found love for herself. Morpheus could have realized he is The One he has been looking for. Eventually Neo realized he was The One because Morpheus believed he was.
I love this narrator's voice. This film is over 20 years old and it's still topical. Absolutely blew my mind when I watched it. There are some seriously crazy people out there..
as a human, his name was mr anderson thomas A. once in the matrix hes a virtual character in the matrix and possibly controllable concious of himself as anderson. once the agents killed anderson, NEO the virtual character living in the matrix entered his body. neo having the ability to pretty much HACK and have those abilities as agents entered the real world. now the machines are connected to the matrix, so the matrix and the machines still were influenced by neo and that is why he was able to control them, explode them, stop them. another thing is that the matrix has the ability to enter human minds, but most likely just agents since the matrix gaved will to the human race being controled and never took over their minds. now agent smith exists most likely to balance the matrix, neo existed so such being had to exist to destroy it, im sure the matrix has laws and the movies tells them, specially the architect.
On the energy thing, I wonder how many missed the full line in the movie, about humans AND fusion reactors. Small reactors and the "battery" would do the job handily.
I already understand it and have my own theory and realizations of things other haven't noticed that I have found. It is about physics and the balance of equations. The more you understand physics ( with a theoretical sci-fi twist ) the more the movies make sense.
It's not electrical power originally in the first draft of the synopsis of the script it was processing power but the executives at Warner Brother thought it would be hard for people to understand that the human brain is an extremely powerful processor and decided to you change it to electricity

The first hypothesis is flawed, the reason they analogised humans as batteries, is because the studio thought people in 1999 wouldn't understand, using human brains as a neural network. The Machines use humans as CPU's and the power of our brains give the programs and machines, their near God-like intellect and processing power (see: the Architect and The Oracle). The battery thing is just a bad bit of external script changing, because they thought the audience were too dumb to get it.
he was born in the matrix - because the matrix is the virtual sim that all the humans and computers are sharing. He - his personality - was in the matrix from the second he came into existence. His body wasn't, but then his body never goes into the matrix at all. His mind and personality always was.
the architect blatantly said that neo is the one. sure, there was ambiguity from the oracle in the first movie but that's just her manipulation to eventually lead neo into choosing the other door and end the cycle.
I always wanted to believe Neo lived before the 1st Matrix iteration explaining why he was vital. He was a programmer who was a lead developer along with his ACTUAL father, the architect. Together they developed what they thought would help save humans after the deal brokered between the machines and the United Nations as seen in the Animatrix. Thus, why he and his father are used as a reset when things get wonky.
I would have loved if the oldest guy in matrix who talks to neo was the last "one". He could have been mad neo didn't cooperate with the reboot. Then when neo saves zion he realizes what could have been. In between could have been in a battle between the former one and neo who tries to kill him so a new one could come and make the right decision.
That last theory... What if the machines were built by the galactic empire, cis or first order. Would love to see Vader force choke an agent. That would make the upgraded ones not want to choke on their aspirations Agent Smith: who are you? Vader: (force choke) I'm gonna ask you one more time, where is the architect?
You forgot to mention the fact that the Wachowski's said themselves that humans were actually supposed to be hooked up for their processing power.. The only reason they made it batteries was because the producers were like "People won't understand that.. Let's make it batteries"

In every movie Neo dies and wakes up in another version of the Matrix. Ponder this You guys are on to something, but I have yet to hear anyone talking about Neo dying in the beginning of the first film and at the end of every matrix movie in some way. Also, once Trinity allowed Neo to imprint on her she died in each movie after. I wouldn't be surprised if Persiphany dies in part 4 since Neo imprinted onto her in the bathroom in part 2. Leading to her death in part 3 by becoming a smith. Last but not least Neo imprinted on Smith in part 1 and he also died in part two in human form and in part three at the same time as Neo. It seems as if once Neo imprints on you death as well as ressurection is...(in my Smith voice) " INEVITABLE!"
I always want to dive in, in the Matrix theory about is it real and are we in the virtual world and how can we found out. I never got out of the earth gravity and I never met someone in person who says there been out of space. I think my body was going to work super fast the more I live earth gravity pull. Can NASA take an MRI of a person in space and see how the neuron explodes with speed. they say that astronauts have to exercise a lot to get higher bone strength, why? if our body is getting more spiritual, why do we have to work our bones so hard, due to lack of gravity? it is like telling a baby to keep on crawling because His/her face is not close to the ground anymore as it was when they crawl as a baby. Some people say the great event is going to happen and when nothing happens people trow a cold shoulder, I do not judge anybody and believe everyone is Heal, bless, and save. I think it would have been best to have a mechanical skeleton tool lower body and backs until I reach earth and than go threw a phase of letting the bone get back in shape, instead of doing massive exercise.
Neo is not the first 1. So the legend of the 1 that is talked about when Neo is freed is not a reference to only this Neo but a compilation of every story about any of the 6 different 1s that would cary over as 7 people where chosen each time to remake or help reboot the matrix. Meaning they could pass on this legend to the next generation.
What if anyone could have been the one, there wasn't any reincarnation, simply that the machines understood that human resistance was inevitable and sooner or later someone would be able to break free. The Entire legend of the one was a check valve they put on the system that would allow for an occasional reset when too many humans realized what was going on? The only real parameters for one human to truly believe they were.
Morpheus being a program would be a simple way to start up the plot again. I agree that part 3 was a bit of a yawner compared to 1 & 2. Maybe Westworld can crossover with Matrix and Jon Wick universes too.
These were some good theories. However, I think "the One"... lol.... where the matrix rendering was experiencing graphics issues because of too many clones... idk.. Remember Agent Smith didn't create extra bodies of himself. He took over already existing bodies within the Matrix. In other words the body count was the same. Maybe it would have issues cause of so many of them in one space, but again such situations would exist, like clubs or concerts of high concentration of people.
After he touched the source he became wirelessly jacked in. That's why he could enter the matrix without being hooked up. Also how he was able to take out the sentinels
Humans won the war against machines. Morpheus the real villain. Smith the real One. All theories that were scary to believe when I first watched all Matrix films. But the first theory I have trouble believing, given what happened in the most terrifying part of Animatrix.

the architect in the 2nd movie says that zion has fallen 5 times before neo. also the oracle says the one's powers extend from the matrix to your [the real] world
Oracle is responsible for Neo’s real world powers. She wrote a program that is designed to have human Biology Interface with machine programming. That all happened. My theory is that she installed this program in Trinity with a cookie, and when Neo jumpstarted her heart, some of that code implanted onto him, overwritten or copied. We’ve heard that before. Right after that Neo kills a sentinel for the first time...
