No, he did need to defend his demographic when Matt came for him like that. I’m not generally a snacker (at least in public places) but when someone implies an entirely harmless behaviour you and many others do is somehow wrong, you gotta stick up for yourself so that they realise that shame they almost put on you isn’t OK.

He's said before that this style of monolog rant is how he would normally talk if left unchecked. I believed him then, and after this interview and watching him DM on CR, I'm realizing the extent of his naturally animated self. I would venture a guess that his CH personas are all slightly muted in an attempt to better blend into society.

yeah, probably takes one/multiple rants he comes up with and scripts them down to be especially concise and useful to fit whatever time budget they want to hit. truly, it seems to be a gift (at least to me)

I'm currently deep in Starstruck which is a space opera comedy. They also just announced their next season beginning 8/3: A Court of Fey & Flowers being DMd by Aabria!

@@means_well I just finished rewatching Escape From the Bloodkeep (which is available on RU-vid and has Mercer and CR alums Erika Ishii and Ify Nwadiwe as PC’s) and it hits SO different now that Calamity happened. Bloodkeep is like the villains of LOTR after the fall of Sauron and the way that the PC’s managed to make an “evil” campaign endearing seems like the perfect setup to Brennan exacting revenge in ExU

Dude, you to charge a food tribute. They can put said tribute in front of you and you can judge like a Roman Emperor. And if someone gives you something that displeases you, they have to rollies with you to avoid having disadvantage on every roll.
