They're very good, but its not the best due it being a "one take." i.e only a couple cameras, no camera crew, no mic at exhaust, no drones, etc. He could pull million plus views if he had these.

Cameron Naidoo: in his experience, increasing production values does almost nothing for views, but makes the video exponentially more expensive to create. Hence the "one take" format.

Chad Stuetzel Nothing just personal preference. Focus RS looks fun, just to boy racer type. I'm partial to VW, and you are to Ford obviously. Golf R = understated, classy, gorgeous, highly tuneable, and way better build quality than Ford can do. Not dogging on the RS at all though. I would still drive one.

Well it kinda is a FWD based car with a torque being sent to the rear wheels when slip is detected kinda like a cr-v so I see where chris is coming from.

Chris Harris absolutely loves the Renault Megane Trophy-R, which is FWD. (It doesn't understeer though...)

I'm with Chris on that. On paper there is nothing special about RS. AWD system not in any way close to those clever systems with center diff (STI, EVO). Power, not high enough for such heavy car even considering claimed numbers. Fancy suspension - again nope.

Matt is driving on the road, I'd suspect understeer is less pronounced because he's not thrashing the car

Bad Abs censor I wasn't able to choose drive mode as a daily driver not so good I have a Elantra GT Sport as my daily so all depends on the mood I am but it a great car with great potential in my opinion

In my opinion turbo lag is when you get on the throttle and have to wait for the turbo to spool up, thus more noticeable with larger turbos. I would have to agree with mustbhacks

My wrx sti is. 4000rpm , gtr is. 4000rpm , evo is 4000 rpm . Only the ej257 are Before 4000rpm

I ended up getting a 2016 ST because at the time the RS was going for over 40k so I was in no way paying that. Now that it's below 40 I might go see what they will offer me for mine.

I have a 2017 ST and love it. I'd love to have an RS but like you said a little expensive for what it is in my opinion. I might get one in the future. It'll obviously be used since the RS will no longer be available after 2018.

+whitecollarairsoft if you lease you can write off the whole thing, not just the depreciation. Then I can wait 3 years to see if the market beats the residual before deciding to buy it out or return it.

AWD is usually about 20% for cars, 4wd in truck and SUV's can approach 25%. My comment was based on Matt's comment in the first couple minutes about people reporting so called wonky dyno numbers.

The car has been dynoed at 250 wheel HP. Ford over boosts the twin scroll turbo charger for 20 seconds everytime you step on the gas which when it is dynoed makes around 300 wheel horsepower. The reason why Ford can market their cars to have 350 wheel HP is because the 300 wheel HP is repeatable (Everytime you step on the gas and you can repeat it by letting of the gas then stepping back on it again), however it only lasts for 20 seconds then your back down to 250 wheel HP and that's why people have been getting weird dyno numbers.

my stock mustang is rated for 300 at the crank and it's dynoed at 271 at wheels

my subaru dynoed 134hp and 141lb/ft at the wheels. JELLY?

+TheSmokingTire intake valve coking is a major issue on all GDI aka gas direct injection cars. I have this issue with my non st ford focus and I installed a catch can system and cleaned out my intake, throttle body and intake valves of nasty carbon build up.

+ZypherinHD you want the arrows. For sure. I like my V1 a lot. I haven't used the new passport with arrows. Biggest criticism of V1 is that it goes off too much, but you just deactivate X and K band which takes 1 minute and it shuts up unless it's an actual cop. It's a very impressive piece of hardware.

"Boy Racer", LOL. I'm 46 and would drive this car with pride and not even think about some mid life crisis thing. This car is all about the drive and seems to jail it based on reviews, like the one Matt posted here. Does it have a wing, sure, is the front end aggressive, absolutely but the way it's done is very tasteful and purposeful. These negative comments is why you hear so many comments like "Europe always gets the good stuff, why don't we?" Then Ford "tries" with cars like the Merkur, Contour SVT and Focus SVT and they ended up being half baked efforts (I owned a 2000 Contour SVT brand new so I know what I'm talking about) Not everyone wants or can have a Mustang GT based off of where they live and how they use a car, so the FoRS fits the bill and gives you a complete driving experience and exclusivity, can't get that with a run of the mill Stang GT....PERIOD!

might look stupid, but a lot of cars have them to quiet them down. In direct injection cars, the injectors make a loud sort of clicking sound, and it can be pretty annoying.
