I mean, hardly unbelievable tbh, they were well beaten by the far superior side and he missed a massive chance. The man scored some fantastic goals but you people need to take off your nostalgia goggles. He would routinely go missing for long stretches of the season because he was overweight and a lazy trainer. The myth that he rejected moves away is comical. Nobody would pay the asking price because they knew he was a luxury player who would need to be carried.
@@samhardy6319 he offered very little other than occasional glimpses of genius when taken at a career average would have been seen once in every 10-15 games. Le Tissier was the very definition of a luxory player.
