I forgot to mention a funny story that Matt told me about a conversation he had with AJ when they met at the weight in and for pictures to be taken to promote the fight for sky.....as always Matt was very humble and polite and said that he was honoured and grateful for the opportunity to fight AJ and AJ replied that no it was him (AJ) who was honoured to have the opportunity to finally meet Matt who he had grown up listening to stories from some top respected men who told AJ some of the things that Matt got up to and the scrapes he was involved in and had wanted to meet Matt for a long time and said that it was great to finally meet Matt which shocked Matt because he is so humble and self effacing that he couldn't believe that AJ had that much respect for him and as well as I know Matt that's so typical of him! Always surprised that people respect him so much! I really am truly honoured that I get to call him my very good friend because what you have to remember is that in mk he is very well known and the amount of people who say that they know him so well and are best friends with him it's become a bit of a laugh! One night when we were out he told me that he was very surprised to hear that he has about 10 brothers and even more best friends!! One night when he was working the door he told me that he had a chat with someone who said that he was Matt's best friend and they were like brothers even though Matt had never met him and just like Matt instead of calling him out and embarrassing him in front of his mates Matt just listened to him and shook his hand and said that he was jealous and wished that he could meet him!! I had the privilege of him being at my wedding and I'm so proud that I get to show my wedding pictures to people who always say the same thing "that looks just like Matt legg at your wedding" and I proudly say that it is! I'll finish by saying that I would do anything for this man and I know that he will do anything for me and I feel honoured and proud and lucky to be able to call him my very good friend of 30 years! one word to describe Matt legg..... LEGEND!!!!👌💪💪💪👏👏👏❤️

Matt is such an honest guy, a real warrior, and a gentleman, a very well-respected guy .

I am very privileged to be able to call Matt a close friend and I first met him when he was 16 (even though he could have passed for 21 !) He stayed at my house for a while because Interpol were looking for him after his boss was found shot dead in a car.... I was DJ and promoter and Matt used to help me flyer cars in the city centre to boost my business there isn't anything Matt wouldn't do to help a friend.... I used to look on like he was my little brother..... I could write a book on the things Matt got up to and Matt introduced me to a lot of very serious people and some celebrities to which he knows a lot of them.... The Providence I offer for my story is simple..... just ask Matt about who I am and he will confirm our friendship to which I am very proud and honoured to call him my friend......a top man who I would put against anyone and who I would choose to stand by me...... my name is Pope and say hello to him for me

Great video, Matt is a brilliant orator and as you say, has some amazing backdrops to his channel. I feel that Matt brought the fight game and other "hard man" issues to the masses and I am sure so many of us view his channel as not only educational but more than just entertaining as well. Thanks for this, very interesting and also a piece of UK history of the really hard guys.

Nice documentary, Matt is such a nice guy. You wont get anyone saying anything bad about him( who truly knows him) because he never threw his weight around or took a liberty with anyone, ( even though he could snap most men like a twig lol ) he was as fair as a man could be..but at the same time hard as nails. Having known Matt for many years, I definitely think he should write a book, it would be a fantastic read and probably a best seller! He has a great RU-vid channel which I would definitely recommend to everyone to visit

I really admire Matt for his openness and honesty about his past life. I have followed Matt for a while now and he always comes across as a proper gentleman, but at the same time you wouldn't want to upset him. There are a lot of so-called hard men on this platform, who are always calling each other out, but don't actually meet up to sort it. You never hear any of that shit from Matt and i respect him for that. As hard men go he must be up there with the best of them, past and present!
