Biggest mass mob brawl I ever saw/was involved in was Birmingham/West Ham. FA Cup Quarter final, I think about 84/85. West Ham bought the biggest mob I have ever seen. Invaded the pitch a couple of times, before Birmingham fans did the same. The fighting lasted all night around the streets of Birmingahm city center. It was relentless. I dont think either side could say they did the other, but a lot of people got hurt that day.

Ive just read WATCH MY BACK one of Geoffs books absolutely love it ive read it many times hes an absolute legend a real hardman not these ones who brag constantly he helped me get over my procrastination and helped me rewire my tortured mind from being abused badly as a child and having bo confidence etc to now ive learned to think differently. I was suicidal and his book changed my life forever. GEOFF THOMPSON IS THE REAL DEAL AND I ADORE HIS HONESTY AND HIM GIVING US THINGS POUNT BLANK.
Won't disagree. I wasn't there. But two other contenders were the punk / skin festival at The Rainbow in Finsbury Park in 81 and PiL in Brixton in 81 straight after the riots.
