Matt audition for Watson but they didnt accept it becuase he wouldve been better as Sherlock, so the creator didnt want there to be "two sherlocks" if he got the Watson role.... i think

I know they'll never do a Sherlock/Eleventh Doctor crossover, but I'd love to see the two of them in a Children in Need sketch or something. Joking about how much the fandoms want to see it, which then turns into an argument about which character is better which naturally culminates in Matt Smith pulling out a sonic screwdriver and Ben Cumberbatch suddenly wearing his Sherlock coat out of nowhere to fight it out in-character.

Well since Matt Smith is no longer doing Dr. Who, maybe he can guest star on Sherlock? They seem to have good chemistry? Can bounce things off each other. Maybe we can see Matt Smith be versatile and play a villain? Would be interesting. Down the line. They wouldn't honestly be able to able to combine the two shows since it will be impractical and illogical unless maybe if they did a parody.

There is an interview with Steven Moffat somewhere where he talks about it. He thinks that if they have a role that fits Matt perfectly he can be a part of Sherlock. There is (Wholock-) Hope!

Well that would be nice. Wholock is great but it's edited sequences I think from Clara's interactions, etc. I was thinking a real parody that they might do for fun, not to be taken seriously at all since the universes don't mix. But then, I also would love to see David Tennant appear in Sherlock or in anything as he was favorite doctor of them all. But I am partially inclined towards him having seen him in several roles before and went to see Dr. Who because he was in it and not vice versa.

He certainly played the Doctor at many angles. One that was playful to one that was very dark and nearly villainous. He's versatile. But anyway, the show must go on right? The new Doctor might be wonderful. We just don't know what that season holds. Obviously that character imprinted onto Clara...that'll be interesting.

Matt Smith is made to be the doctor! He doesn't change even! He still uses his hands a lot and talks the exact way he does in doctor who. It's really funny and feels like you already know him!
