Because he is making fair points.. The two countries of China and India alone are responsible for something like 60% of all carbon emissions in the world, and an insane amount of all the plastic pollution in the ocean is coming from Asia. But for whatever reason it’s only Western countries who seem to be chastising themselves and taking any action over climate change.

Please provide a source for this. The NBA generated $165 million in 1984 and generated $5.5 billion in 2013! The WNBA generated $200 million last year. NBA players are making millions because the league is generating billions. Where will the league get the money to pay the women?

My parents married when they were 20 and 24 years of age. They never divorced nor separated. My mother died over 20 years ago. It was an unhealthy marriages, they argued frequently and my mother resorted to violence hitting my father or my siblings when she was angry or using the silent treatment. My father felt he couldn't leave as he felt he had no where to go. So early marriage and long lasting marriages may be a reflection of people who felt they had no where to go and it was socially unacceptable to leave no matter what the reason.

Yes. It's bad for the individuals. However, even marriages that are less than ideal as that one, are good for the societal structure overall. The decline of marriages in this society is a DISASTER for this society. Gen Z and Gen Alpha are doomed because the societal structure is crumbling all around them.

@@jonathancummings3807 Better people be in strong committed happy relationships than unhappy marriages. You don't need to be married to have children and be good parents and commited to each other. I worked with families with children under 5. The stress on people is multifactorial today. Trickle up economics, housing treated as commodities instead of shelter, corporations price gouging at the cost of human welfare, mental health stressors, domestic violence etc.

@@jonathancummings3807 the other thing to consider re teen pregnancies is that they occurred many decades before not just now. It's just that they were hidden by religious groups in mothers and babies homes then the babies were adopted out, lived or died in orphanages. This created tremendous trauma for both relinquishing mothers and adoptees.

It needs to be at least 2.1 to maintain the population without immigration, what if eliminating, or dramatically decreasing teen pregnancy is that missing 0.5? Maybe we as a society shouldn't be interfering with our species natural reproduction process at all. Super low Fertility Rates all over the world, well, 1. Reduction in Teen pregnancies, when Humans are actually most Fertile, 2. All sorts of technologies to interfere with Women Birthing children, birth prevention medicines, abortion, etc, 3. Teaching people advanced family planning strategies, so the put off having children until "they are ready". If all three reasons are only worth 0.5 average babau production it increases from the guaranteed species extinction rate of 1.63, if continued long term, to a healthy 3.13 Fertility Rate. We focus too much on individuals and individualism, meanwhile the society, species health as a whole is in mortal danger. Dr. Darrell Bricker explains well the danger Humanity is in due to the super low Fertility Rate.

NBA wasn't profitable for decades, players were treated like slaves, it wasn't until.fairly recently that sportsball players were getting paid, and a few of them making a lot. (Most NBA players don't make millions). The owners however have generally made millions, even with franchises that have stunk for decades, I assure you the owners put the least amount of work to success of any particular franchise than say your average player.

Pierce Morgan is on second place when it comes to narcissism among those that I have watched. and they build people's opinion about others! it is the biggest joke ever.. now they are ghosting me everywhere, but hey, why accept something more balanced when all you have is shouting and one sided arguments - the more censorship and scape goating the more people lose right after right after right and the more insane everyone is.

Well, I'll give him credit for one thing. He is correct about the WNBA. It's a pit that just loses money continually, yet everyone thinks it's successful because of the media. Canada's women's hockey league that they just started last year is already turning a profit because the product is actually good and there is actual income to pay the players. The also have actual fans in the stands and can sell out a building on occasion. The WNBA cannot do any of those things. They only survive because of the NBA. The NBA even makes players go to those games because they think it will help, it's a joke. On top of that, you now have all of the players jealous and seething because a white straight woman happens to be the best player right now. Even Lebron and Barkley called out the racism. The players themselves will be the death of that league.

Neither men nor WOMEN support the WNBA in any significant monetary way so the NBA SUBSIDIZED it. Meaning it's a failed endeavor being kept going despite it's failure in the market. Your use of the word ''essential'' to mean that a business is able to support itself on market revenue without any subsidies is problematic, and it not the usual meaning of the word ''essential''. If so, is the NBA no longer deserving of your support?
