Thanks to everyone who came to the shows and went nuts for the music video shoot. Thanks to the crew on tour and thanks to Tucker for doing an excellent job shooting and editing this. I was scared to re-listen to this album, I hadn't listened to it since all the controversies came out, it would just be too sad, but I decided to listen to it again tonight and man, even if this music isn't perfect, there is such a passion behind it. I feel like Matt's music was one of the most attacked after the controversies, with people saying they thought it was mid or that it was garbage this whole time and that now they could finally admit it, but it is clearly not some soulless RU-vidr cash grab. You can tell Matt put his all into it and has genuine passion for his music. I hope Matt and Ryan can come back at some point, they were the sources of so many laughs, while still being able to make more serious content like some episodes of the podcast, Matt's music, or some of their skits. Love all they did and hope that their incredible work isn't forever tainted with the bad taste of an abrupt and controversial end.
I actually love all of Matt’s music and listen to it constantly in the car and my everyday life. I really hope he comes back and does music again along with SuperMega
Supermega, one of the bros forever. Parasocial or not, the boys helped raise me. I appreciate them and this song is a perfect memory collector. Even if life is Messy I hope one day we can all work it out.
Tucker really knocked this one out of the park. Captured the tour perfectly through such a well used lens. And the editing felt so smooth while showing so much. Awesome work
In all realness, both Ouch and See You There have helped me through some very tough times, so grateful to be able to see Matt's journey with music. Wishing all the best for you, and I can't wait to see more from you as you continue creating and sharing your art to the world.
SO PROUD OF YOU! You can feel the joy and accomplishment in your face in every second of this video. Seeing you go from city to city under something you are truly proud of is awesome. Keep it up! (Saw you in Spokane you killed it)
I'm praying he comes back, I wanna go to one of his shows so badly, Matt if you read this, please don't quit, your music means an unbelievable amount to so many people. I'm one of those people and if we never another album then it'll be truly upsetting, hope you're doing alright.
I cant believe its already been so long since the accident, I remember this show and I feel like it was yesterday. I hope one day we find who was responsible for microwaving that fork in his tour bus. It was so unfortunate that the gasoline tanker just so happened to be passing by. Rest in piece Matt, I am so happy Ryan and Arnold uploaded this so we can be with you one more time.
God listening to the songs now is so sad, that shit sucks. I hope both of them can recover from all that. And not like get back on RU-vid, I just hope mentally they’ll be able to move past it somehow. So much was said that shouldn’t have been. I hope they can work it out ❤
Can't get through this song without my heart physically breaking each time it comes on. Please come back someday even if it's just you writing music, you truly had something special here.
Ouch was like a warm blanket of sullen memories struggling to find our way through the dark. This song makes me feel like it's a new warmth from the sunlight at the end of the tunnel. Not only is it comforting but it's a certified slapper. Great job Matt!!!
Man I'm so happy for him and Ryan, they're career has really soared these past few years and now this dude is up on stage doing music, love it love it. Keep killing it boys
Since I’ve been watching Matt for so long everytime he puts out a new song I swear I almost shed a tear bro I love to see this dude create and blossom with his music and career
Matt, you really inspire me to feel like life is worth living. Not in a 'my life revolves around you' way, but just seeing someone get so far in life, being surrounded by people they love, doing the things they love. Especially in this day and age. It really gives a feeling of hope for my own life. This album was amazing. Keep it up man
Not to get too parasocial, but I'm really proud of you, dude. I've been a fan since the creation of Supermega, and to see the evolution of you guys has been awesome from a fan perspective. I've been a musician for 18 years, and I love your album. Great sounds, themes, production, melodies. It's just really fun to listen to.
just got out of a super difficult and toxic long term relationship and this song truly makes me feel like shit is gonna get better, thanks for everything Matt, you’ll always have me as a fan, your music has been blasted on repeat so many times when I’m strugglin
Been here thru basically every step of your career and I can't thank you enough for the laughs and now the tears too. These songs will be cherished for the rest of a lot of people's lives. You're super talented Matt never stop
I was in one of those rooms with my two best friends. I don’t think you can see us at all, but man it was so much fun being in that space. You did a great job Matt I’m so proud of you and I’m glad I was able to see you live
Man my girlfriend just got vip tickets to your show in Durham, NC. I'm pumped man can't wait to see you live. First concert I've been to as well so set the bar high!
This hits at the right time. Thank you for creating in this world instead of destroying. We'll be back at it and making music to hopefully cross paths with in the future cus you never know
I only found out recently about his passing, it’s so sad but I had no idea he had this banger brewing, I’ll listen to it in memoriam, my heart goes out to all who were affected by Matt’s 50m liquid concrete swan dive (for charity) televised)
I'm not sure why this song makes me break down in tears every time I listen to it, but I think that just confirms Matt as an artist. This song really gets into my heart.
This video gives me crazy nostalgic vibes of just the drive to the show. Then knowing how to reflect on that feeling 20/20 is crazy with the emotion this song brings
Matt this song hasnt been out long but its already helped me sit down and think and learn to cope with things goin on in my life even though obviously you lived a vastly different life, The music you create stays super relatable and ill probably always love your music for that. Keep the hits comin dude.
Matt, this is incredible. Watching this video was an experience. The beat bro...ur genuinely a musical genius, and I'm so happy you're doing this. You're an inspiration.
If you told me in 2016 that Game Grumps editor Matt Watson would be releasing Actually Great music and would have straight up stolen my heart as well,,, I would’ve been like “which one is Matt Watson, I don’t know what he even looks like”
I just want to comment that I'm in love with your latest album because it feels mature and the vibes are perfect. You are becoming one of my favorite musical artists ever. I don't watch your RU-vid anymore, but I'll stay for the music for sure ❤❤
666th comment, goals. Been watching you for years, never really gave your music a chance. Until I saw this. Your music is beautiful and the emotion feels very real. After seeing this video I listened to your discography back to back 3 times. Might be much to ask, but a tour date in Amsterdam would be incredible
Was going through a break up when I discovered this song. I thought we could really work it out, but sometimes it doesn't. The vibes of "maybe it would" that this song brings gave me some hope, but at the end of the day, while I don't have her, I do have this song and the possibility of making it work with someone else.
This is one of your best songs you've released on the channel so far and by far your best video so far. This is so great all around, man. Beautiful stuff.
