I have a request!!! SHADOWING SERIES. You can even use previous footage! 😁 People have been saying "slow Italian please" but I don't think they know exactly why. it wasn't until using Pimsleur that I realized how powerful shadowing is. You could create a entire new series for more ad revenue with minimal work just by duplicating a cut and adding a pause. Even better, just say things twice for new episodes for the series! This would give time to repeat and practice some of the more common phrases found WITHIN your videos. Slow Italian MAY be more effective for listening comprehension then regular but it still doesn't help people practice shadowing if they have to rewind over and over. Just a thought since there is so much content for reading and listening but not speaking(which is ACTUALLY the thing that makes people stay and get excited; when they hear themselves speak in their target language).

Excellent idea. I learnt a lot of conversational German when simply listening to casual conversations between friend while not really understanding what they were saying at first. It also helps you understand some of the dialects and slang used as words don't often sound the same as we see them written in English. Italian and German are prime candidates for this.

@@skintslots Thanks! The idea came to me when I found myself listening to a playlist of their conversations with beginner vocabulary while I fell asleep. I knew the individual words but had no time to repeat the sentences so I could practice using those words in sentences I have never encountered. I thought "man I could really be repeating this if there was a pause and repeat, like Pimsleur." After using Pimsleur. I believe playlists like this could probably end up being the missing piece everyone has been looking for acquiring language quickly. You can read all you want. But what you need are some earbuds and practicing vocabulary you know in sentences. It's the "holy grail" of comprehensible input for people who are learning languages on the side who can only listen and cant watch(like when driving with some ear buds).

Per me, quando vivo a Bologna, mi mancano diverse cose della mia casa nella palude della Florida. Mia mancano la mia famiglia, e i miei amici. Mi manca il mio giardino, mi manca la mia cucina, mi manca la mia cucina, e specialmente mi manca il grande forno a legna comunità 100 metri su strada.

E i trolleybus dove a volte si parla più arabo che italiano?.. Per rispondere alla domanda del giorno, è da 4 anni che non vivo nella città (e nel paese) dove sono nato. Potrei dire che mi manca un po' la sensazione di spazio e la quantità di posti dove camminare, ma so che ci sono dei posti proprio carini a Cracovia, ne ho già trovati alcuni. Semplicemente sono molto pigro per esplorare il resto. (Forse dovremmo chiedere a Luca Lampariello? Mi pare che Cracovia sia la sua città preferita.) Mi ricordo che tempo fa mi mancava anche un po' un alimento quando mi sono trasferito e non l'ho trovato nei negozi, ma adesso non mi ricordo neanche quale. Oggi cucino altre cose provenienti da diverse cucine europee (anche quella italiana -- con, diciamo, successo variabile).
