@solomonhiggins4576 that's cuz he's one of the fastest indoor ever and also one of the best multiple events athletes ever, if not the best, Carl Lewis is the only multi eventer to beat his times and distances but saying that he never competed in the 400 that boling has done and won medals at
These white ppl be delusional...."I hope he can take his running to the next level"🤣🤣🤣...thats it...younger and faster who naturally have it emerge every year....wont even see him outdoors when ANY 400M college runner shows up
I know Fred & Noah are talking about battling over 60m but would rather see those two plus Norman & Kenny B battle over 300m, that would be a fun & fast race that would result in a new US Record.
@@aodoemela The 31.87 US Record goes if those 4 battle over the indoor 300m but not sure they break Gardiner's 31.56 WR. Sub 31s outdoors is so difficult, only prime WvN & Bolt have done it at sea level, MJ only did it at altitude in Pretoria, South Africa.
@@aodoemela WvN & Bolt are true Outliers! MJ had 19.32/43.18 PBs but couldn't crack 31s at sea level, so doesn't always work out the way you've put it. Norman & Gardiner at their best are the only two with the best chance of doing it.
@@aodoemela Need to stop bringing ppl's 100/200m PBs into this like it's the most important thing when it comes to the 300/400m - WvN with his 19.84 PB is a HUGE 0.52s slower than MJ & even slower than Bolt in the 200m BUT is quicker than both in the 300/400m cos Prime WvN's speed endurance was legendary, true outlier stuff that you're not quite grasping by simply going off 100/200m PBs!
@@aodoemela Are you saying those were Johnson's 200m and 400m times for that season around the time he broke the 300m record? He literally ran 43.18 the season before that in 1999 and was building up to possibly run that fast again until he got hurt in the 200m during the Olympic Trials trying to beat Maurice Greene (who also got hurt in that race, smh politics).
1:50 on this very day in fact nearly. I haven’t seen the race yet I assume it was today or yesterday but I’d be pretty shocked if he even won… let alone break 32. He’s a pro now, they teams mapping out their taper. I pray to god he doesn’t break 32 in January
Here ya go - Event 113 Men 300 M Saturday 1/13/2024 - 12:15 PM Section 8 of 8 Finals 3 Alexander, Dominique 4 Faust, Brian 5 Rose, Cameron 6 Boling, Mattew
Enough already of MB until he actually achieves something worthy of reporting- I sense there’s a strong element of GWH ( great white hope) in all the TRP videos involving Boling
@@TheoOJamaloO1 Matthew Boling Returns to the 300m which was the title. Which to me implies he ran the 300m. I've been a fan of running for over 25 years. But, I don't know when every event in the world is. That doesn't make me not a fan because I dont know this specific event. I'm glad you are some superfan. Maybe tone down the ego and support other fans.
This channel must start the petition for the 300 to be in world champs and Olympics. If flag football can win a gold metal, why isnt every available distance and displine in track get one?????????
Bowling should be capable of running a very fast 300. However, I assume he has a new coach. That can mean a lot of things. Is his training system better or worse for Boling? What are his coach’s goals? Does his coach just want this indoor season to be about working on his running technique, physical development and remaining free of injury? All of these things can have an effect on Boling’s performances. Meanwhile, the public might be expecting Boling and his coach to go all out for maximum performance this indoor season. This is where hopefully a professional coach will communicate to the public so there is no false expectations.
@@BradTaylor-n8t nope, he'd just be average against cornerbacks and safeties in the NFL. If there's such a huge difference, why are you implying he should play football?
@@rayflaherty3441 Dude, guys that run a 10.6 are deep threats in football and this guy is a bit faster than that. I’m not implying anything other than wondering if he could.
Oh goody. America’s “Greatest Sprinter Ever” is now running in events that aren’t in the Olympics or WC’s and that no one cares about. I thought Matthew Bolling was supposed to be “so great.” But his age group peers are winning at world class meets and he’s struggling to make the US team.
@@normcmiller Think the point is they don't think he can make the US 200m Team ahead of 2 other ppl behind Lyles which is still good enough to win a Global Medal like Knighton & Bednarek have done.
@@AllInTheGame01 Probably not...but you never know if he can make an alternate or something. I use this comparison often..Jenna Prandini will never gold as an individual but she has had a great career as a relay racer. Matt could end up there as well. We just have to see.
