I don't like everything Matthew Bourne does, but he sure comes up with more than his share of clever or funny stuff. His dancers are wonderful actor-actresses, too; and I liked the way this was filmed & edited. Thanks for posting this.

Yes, Adam Cooper. He's had (and still having) a wonderful career in dance, singing, acting, choreography, producing and directing. He's also considered being a van delivery driver during COVID!
You're watching a new production of Swan Lake. It doesn't take away the traditional Swan Lake. Perhaps broaden your mind and accommodate new interpretations and not feel threatened.
@@user-oo5cd1fx3i please open your mind and not be soulfully threatened by another interpretation. God is in creation. There is nothing wrong in this interpretation of the ballet other than you feel it a spiritual insult. God isn't as narrow minded as you.
By what stretch of the imagination is this a “Christmas” program? This is sleazy and offensive. Yuck. I’m sorry to say that because the dancers are amazing and the choreography is extremely artistic. But no thank you.🤢
After watching this all the way through, it strikes me that Bourne's ability to re-imagine familiar works is as important to imagine them. (I hope that sounds clearer than it looks on the screen!) The man is beyond brilliant . . . as are his dancers.
Matthew creates ballet for beyond the traditional classical performances for men. I enjoy his creativity towards what he envisions… woman like to see men also dance. Took ballet for 8 yrs but want good enough to become my profession. However I still enjoy it. ☺️👏🏻💕‼️
Innovative choreography that requires dancers to display acting skills for their roles. I loved that the table played a significant role in Play Without Words! Wonderful video!!
My only comment is I have never been front row in person. Kudos to the editor. But let me go I will pay San Francisco. Huge fan. I have your videos. Let me squeal live. Bravo
