Guys, Matthew was born in Uvalde and grew up in Longview. He went to the White House to raise more awareness and to at least make people in places of political power acknowledge these kids and hear their life so that maybe it will encourage them to do something proactive in order to prevent future school shootings. He’s not acting, this really did break his heart just as it should break yours. Put your feeling aside for a moment and have some empathy.
He really poured his heart and soul into that speech and it was not acting. . Beautifully humanized and gave a voice to so many victims. I always liked him as a actor but I have a newfound appreciation towards him and his wife.

When your child that you raised gets their face blown off by a military grade weapon then I’d like to hear you call it an “emotional smoke screen.” You wouldn’t want guns either if you were in that situation, but you aren’t. So you have absolutely no right to comment.
@@briandavis849 If it convinces our lawmakers to make a change in our gun laws, then yes. Get a group of people who have been affected by these mass shootings and let them tell their stories and the amount of grief they've experienced from losing their loved ones.
