The French Maurice André (1933-2012) was one of the greatest trumpeters of all time. He gives an unforgettable rendition of the 'Orchestral Suite #2 in Bm', BWV 1067, written by the German composer, virtuoso organist, harpsichordist, choirmaster and teacher Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750).
This was the first time that this piece was recorded on the trumpet.
Recorded in the album ‘Maurice André Interprets Bach’ (1974).
