Walking on air is a song that came out in 2001 on their album This is where I came in which will be unfortunately their last. This is one of the few songs that Mo sang lead!
Maurice was absolutely gorgeous and I think he was truly the man in the middle. He wasn’t in competition to be lead like Robin and Barry. He was truly the man in the middle. He has the most gorgeous eyes and smile! I never get tired of listening to to all of them. I also never grow tired of looking at them. ❤❤
As our former neighbours in Manchester two streets away from us, he was as a kid extremely funny, and his eye brows lifts used to make us laugh so much, we are so proud of these local lads, yes they could sing, but out of the group our mo was the most gifted n to see him sing high level and lower was so good to hear, n not many people knew he could n did do that, most godly gifted and special, n he in his own right was so talented, he's now the heavenly song angel now loved wanted healed restored. His mission complete, he was only lent to us n the songs off god. And his beautiful smile n his way we seen regular, n we will always treasure our signed photos of the lads for ever. So nice to have them n to know after leaving us in Manchester did well, n their song writing was second to none. The best god gave it. N to them. Now all in the light, n now our precious rob too.❤❤❤❤
I often wonder if Maurice knew how Loved he was by everyone. Maurice had so much talent and he was such a compassionate man . When man fails us know that Jesus never will . Thank you Jesus for saving Maurice and for guiding him back on his path of peace and happiness . I light a candle for Maurice as he lives on in our hearts forever. Love and Light
I met Mo twice . 5 years apart .He remembered me ,my name and where I lived . He talked to me the 2nd time forever . I don’t know how long ,but I had to pick my child up at school . He was one of the sweetest men I’ve ever met ,and had the most gorgeous smile ,and contagious laugh . We talked about sobriety ,kids ,life and very little music . I still cry for his loss and his family .
Wow! Maurice has a great voice and songs!! I love Maurice!! May he Rest In Peace in heaven including Robin and Andy. For Barry, God bless him always. I love BEEGEES! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Our mo as we called him was so warm funny and just had IT. N in buckets wat he used to say in Manchester was I just want the world to like us n fall in love with our music and mostly our writing. Loved them as kids n now even more, miss you two lads local and glad U got out, we did in the end too. N no more playing out.❤🙏😇🙏😇🩵🩵❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💖
This is such a beautiful song. I think it relates to Maurice changing his life by getting treatment for his alcohol problem . He was starting over being a better husband to Yvonne. From everything I've read and seen pictures of them, they seemed madly in love. I think Maurice sang this for Yvonne. I bet he'll be happy to greet some her some day in heaven.
So nice to hear this. Loved Mo as much as Robin and Barry, a special man and lost to us too soon. Bless him and his whole family. The best brother band ever.
A great song. It's unfortunate that, as a tribute to Mo, Barry and Robin didn't release one of his songs after his death. I know radio (particularly in America) weren't really playing Bee Gees songs but it still would have been a nice honour. Instead there was a squabble over a tribute album which resulted in a (further) fracture in their relationship. Sad....Mo rarely had a chance to shine.
