By way of trivia, I think there are 7 Mavericks, of course Bret and Bart, and in one episode James Garner and Jack Kelly played Beauregard and Bentley Maverick, Roger Moore as Beau Maverick, Robert Colbert as Brent Maverick and Charles Frank as Ben Maverick ( There was a TV movie). The Mel Gibson movie was just Bret and "Pappy"
How come it's impossible to find this series posted anywhere? Not even Netflix or Hulu. My Dad loved this series and I would love to see it again because of that
I can't find the maverick episode called "the Comstock tragety" Can anyone help me out here. They do show a 30/31 second clip that's in the first half of the show, but that's all that I can find, I'm looking for that episode to watch as well as to read the cast & credits.😎, thx for any & all help of any kind from anyone.
What was the episode where Brett Maverick ties up the bad guy by the ankles and hauls him up up side down. The bad guy states that he is telling the truth. Bret answers (words to the effect), You wouldn't know the truth if your were right side up, upside down or sideways>"
The bad guy said, “I can’t talk upside down.” Bret said, “You can’t talk right side up, but you’re gonna talk even if it’s inside out.” …Remembered that line for all my life so far!
"Wisecracking ladies' man Bret Maverick (Garner) and his more serious brother Bart (Jack Kelly)" - I don't know if that's exactly the difference. It's not that Jack Kelly was more serious, it's that he couldn't deliver comedy the way James Garner does. Even in this clip his line about the picnic, and his reaction to the gunshot, are actually funny. Jack Kelly could have worked the same scene, and the picnic line would have merely been sardonic, and the reaction to the gunshot would have been understandably cautious.
Well Speak for your self was always interesting to this little kid and her parents,We enjoyed the shows go watch something else get up and Turn the channel get your exercise 🙄😁
