Hey guys great video. Doug just just go with it ! Its obvious you absolutely love the x3 .if you officially Came out and said it your fans would come to your aide and help you get one. Doug you are classiest guy around. You deserve your just due... You help ur guys so much. Push it Leonardo !!!!!!!! You guys are humble and awesome
Man, I'd love to see what these rigs would do in Alaska. TOTALLY different terrain and can be a bit more technical depending on where you ride. Paddles won't do here boys. You ever make it here, just remember you have a supporter of the channel that would love to show ya around!
I’m from Texas, lots of mud riders down here. I’ve never personally ridden a sxs so ifin you ever need a spare driver for the RS1 please feel free to give me a holler!!! Great job be safe buds!
SXSBlog.com you’re definitely not wrong 🍺😁👍 I’m thinking perfect for backflips Leonardo 🤞The other day I was applying 17 Dougie lbs to my secondary clutch and was laughing then I thought SXS.blog needs to make a Dougie Leatherman multitool with true Doug spec for the store 🙌
Hell yeah ! Very excited to see how this belt holds up. Been looking and it seems like there has been no end all be all belt for the x3 so if this does what they claim then well done Evo!
That thing is jumping off the line. If it had more grip that would hold the traction you might start breaking axles. Great video. I've got a CV-Tech clutch in my Commander to help gear it down for the bigger tires and lower rpm power
Yeah, Grizzly’s are fun as Hell, I just came back from a rip through the State Forest with all kinds of terrain!!! Mudholes, rocks, woods, roads, trails, brooks, and made it back in one piece seeing that I was alone!!!
You guys are really making it very hard to not get me a X3 and make it into Beast Mode 2! I told the wife we will buy a house before I buy another SxS.
Uhg man you gonna be revving like the flipping new Textron xx man with those light clutch weights! You might never see top speed now if it don't have enough pressure weight to shift fully!
That’s a badass tune! That car is just bitchen! I read in one of the comments that you had it in the dunes, can’t wait for the vid of that. Just imagine if you had it setup like that when we were in Dumont! Are you planning on (if you haven’t already) getting rid of the stock muffler and having a full aftermarket exhaust on it? Might even make a little more power.
Beast mode sure looks awesome! Shock therapy, new all terrain tires and some paddles for the dunes? Not that you haven’t spent enough money on it. Thanks for the video! Nice work
SXSBlog.com boy I understand that! She’s a sweet unit! I am living vicariously through you. I really love what you have done to it. Can’t wait for Yamaha to come around for Doug!
I cant believe Bighorn hasn't thrown you guys some new tires yet....since you guys are the only people I know who like them lol. Beast Mode is rediculous lol
Probly gonna need some more power or clutch work with these tires. A gear reduction kit is last resort option. I ride with built rigs with 42 inch tires so i needed some more tire. Hopefully i have enough power and belt.lol
no clutch pro here but I think u could of unbolted the outter half of the primary and did the weights much easier..and on the weight topic there's 6 weights all together so if your putting in lighter weights u shouldn't just do two..u should do 3 evo weights and 3 stock weights staggered..this keeps the clutch evenly tuned or weighted..your looking for a few hundred more rpm anyway and your motor now will make power a bit above the stock rpm power so one more light flyweight will really help, along with balancing the primary properly..i could be wrong but I think I'm right.lol. anyway great vids keep up the good work and testing great products
We've unbolted the primary on these, and trust us it is waaayyyyy easier to just compress the spring with a couple screw drivers / pry bars while it is all still together. Running 2 weights opposite each other in a 6 arm clutch is no problem, although we likely will be installing more to get it right where we want it!
First wash New belt in warm water mixed with dish soap that has degreaser I n it. Let belt air dry. Next scuff all four clutch faces with green scotch brute. Stuffing should be done center out or from the outside in towards the center ; not around the face. Wipe all surfaces with dry cloth. Absolutely no aerosol or liquid cleaners. Install belt. With machine in neutral run belt up and down the clutches. Remove belt Thoroughly clean clutches. No solvents or aerosols. Reinstall belt.Don't abuse for the next twenty miles. Drive belt will work better and last a he'll of a lot longer
Put some Dam new tires on Beast mode! Let that New found power eat instead of spin all the time. All that money in it and neglecting traction. Keep up the good work. 👍👍
Great video guys 110 all the way what hp to the wheels now on Beast mode now I'm going to speed money on my turbo RZR thank guy got to check out Evo now 😎😍🤤🤤🤤🤤🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
fancy pants with the swivel heads, I don't have those. Tell Doug to get a new 1/2" impact, both milwaukee and dewalt have some MONSTERS! 700ft lbs + tire change..............DONE
Cant wait to see you guys get your hands on the talon when it comes out. Very curious on it. It wont be no x3 or turbo s contender but sounds interesting
I have been seriously considering purchasing a Maverick X3 turbo Max but I'm really concerned about how long the belt will last. Any advice? How long how many miles do you fellows usually get off a belt
Hey im running 32s voyagers(8 ply bighorn knock offs) i was allso wondering if sous liked his tune and muffler. Dont know if the power gains are worth the money. Im hearing of people spending 900 bucks on exaust and tune but only getting 5 hp out of a 1k. From what i understand short of a power adder or a big bore kit these machines are basically factory tapped out
I got evo stage 5 on my 19 turbo x3 and evo clutch system. Any recommendations on where it should be set at. I'm taking for granted it's correct I bought it this was. Running 30" tires on 15"rims. Or maybe min on to where and how to tune the clutch. I think it needs to engage a tic faster
There's an updated version now called the Evo "World's Best Belt" that we've been running with lots of success. Super tough but doesn't impact clutching at all compared to OEM. Available on our parts website
I wasn't that happy with clutching either. I did the KWI x36 clutch kit weights and springs and I didn't really notice muc of a difference or change at all from before. I have stg 4 velocity intake, evo down pipe, Yoshi exhaust, bov and to me clutching did nothing. it was supposedly such a big deal but I disagree
its done correctly and even discussed with kwi and others. just doesn't make as much of and improvement as people think. after all the tuning I got about 100-200rpms more on the hit. 99 percent of people wont ever notice that little difference unless you look at it. now if your not tuned and you do it I bet its more noticeable. i still kept the kit on because it cant hurt. maybe with bigger tires it will be better otherwise not worth the mullah really unless straight racing it or just like to blow cash or its a free shoutout such as beast mode ha. my 0-60 times didn't really change at all either so x3 comes with a good clutch. also 17 and 18 smart loc models are different in the clutches. mine looks a lot different then a 17 clutch and is preset on 4 already so most likely why I don't notice so much as those guys with the 17 models who say they can really tell. all road testing btw so its all accurate
