How many people have had a belt blow with one of these liners? Any feedback? Does the liner make it more difficult to change out a belt? Any thoughts on the aluminum housing VS liners?
So I know of one person who has the liner and has had some pretty good blow outs and all it did was leave black marks in the aluminum. Not sure if it would have broken the housing with out it. I have not seen any pics or video of a broken housing when running the liner but plenty without! The liner is a much cheaper option than the full aluminum housing, it also can run the quick connect kit with out any modification unlike the housing which would need to be drilled and tapped to those sort of self taping threads the pins use.. I like the liner route myself.
