This is the thing, what criteria do you use to judge the best KO? Under the circumstances i think Leon on Usman was the best because Leon was 4-0 down in rounds and he came back to KO Usman to win the belt. Recency bias is why People say Max won, Yes it was risky for him to point to the ground in round 5 being way up but that was only when 10 seconds were left and max knew he had Gaethje was hurt, not discrediting Max because only a warrior like him would do that and KO Gathje with 2 seconds to go. Also the BMF is not regarded as highly as the lightweght ufc belt. Furthermore, you could argue Head kicking someone out cold is harder skill wise than over right KO somebody. Both were vicious knockouts but I have to give it to Leon due to everything i have mentioned and i'm not even a Leon fan.

Gaethje was 2-2 going into the fifth round and commentary was very biased towards holloway and they were trying to make it look like it was 3-1 max and helwani told masvidal it was 4-0 max But I rewatched the fight Gaethje was 2-2 he won rounds 2nd and 4th He had more damaging shots in that both rounds
