@@Drip5167 bro legit I agree with u. I just said jab because I saw everyone else say it so wanted people to understand wha I meant. U right tho wasn’t a jab.
@@re1ive456 What does "better teamwork" look like in 1 on 1 combat sports? You're comparing apples to oranges with no logical criteria. This was not "just a guy showboating midfight" and to say so shows you have little understanding of combat sports.
@@BrianUpward nah there was a little trash talk before the fight but nothing over the line. It’s part of the game, all respect between those 2 after the fight
@@smellypatel5272 he wasn’t charging a crowd😂they just went after mcgregor and danis and i think one other. but nah holloway really was on a whole different level that night
I literally can’t stop watching this. Simply one of the most legendary moments in combat sports history. When we are old we will remember this the way our dads and grandads remembered Ali and Tyson.
@@aoifeohara7823 is there really more brutality in the ufc though? i mean back to back brain shaking punches in boxing really makes u think. Props though if u step in either ring
Probably would have never happened. He wouldn’t have been able to hear the commentary team so he wouldn’t be looking at or talking to them. This no crowd/small crowd era is legendary and we will all miss it when it’s gone.
It will gonna like this . Ahahahahahahahhahaahahahahhaahhahahahabahahahahahahahhahaahhahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaoaohohohoohohohohohohohohohohohohohohhaahhahahahahaha!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😨😨😨😨😨
Max Holloway is probably the most humble dude I’ve ever met he carries himself like the most normal person at the jiu jitsu gym i didn’t even notice it was him for so long
@@thechovanone he goes to gracie technics jiu jitsu in Honolulu every once in a while he used to have his belt on the wall in there I don’t know how you’re going to try to tell me I’m wrong when I literally met him lmao
HELP MY!!! My muscles are too big! I am a big tall man and my muscles are even BIGGER! I use them to get views but they HURT so much!!! Because they are heavy. Do you have any advice, dear gag
@@H.K.5 Well here's the thing, would you rather get knocked out in one punch by Francis, or beat the fuck up over 5 rounds by Holloway? Let's assume at no point can you opt out of either option.
@@H.K.5 Id disagree Francis is going to throttle you, you get hit and you wake up you don't necessarily get "hurt" you just wake up like wtf... with holloway its different he is going to put a pace on you that you can't match, he will not knock you out with one punch consistently he is a volume guy, so you feel every shot so you could argue that someone that is a volume guy is much more daunting as you will feel everything and Max doesn't get tired, if its a fight to the death im picking holloway 10/10
@@micalzoncillo249 no way! Doing this shit during the fight is another level of boss! I celebrated khabib kicking Conor's ass and his teammate but this just hits different
@@elgreco5790 99% of UFC fighters cannot throw that kind of volume without gassing out. You cant even do that on the Video Game. He is using cheatcodes in real life
Wasnt the biggest Max fan...but WOW! Earned my damn respect! I've never seen ANY fighter in ANY COMBAT SPORT do that! He did the Paul Walker move from 2fast 2furious on the commentators!
Max owns probably the 3/5 of the best moments ever. This, when he showed Ortega how to block by grabbing his hands, and his throw down with Lamas. He’s a fucking goon!!! What a legend!!

@@CptDroga or Volkanovski or Porier. Pretty much anybody who is going to attack his legs, circle out and throw feints or just hit him with power like Porier.
@@CptDroga Saying it like that's an easy feat to accomplish, you are the same dude on the other thread saying you could drop max, lol you are literally officially a certified 🤡 therefore your opinions on MMA or boxing is invalid.
@@CptDroga two things. that fight was literally 8 years ago. So max was about 21 and conor was about 24. Thats a lot of age advantage if you compare the development of the body and time to train. Second, max is only one of two people in the ufc that mcgregor could not finish while he beat them. That is pretty impressive when you consider that max was only around 21, and that other guy is Nate Diaz. Also, what do you mean "couldn't even beat mcgregor" only people in the ufc to do that is an arguable literal GOAT, as well as Nate diaz because his style clashes with Conor's so much. Conor is an amazing fighter, so to be able to clash 15 minutes with him and be slightly competitive in the later rounds as a youngster, that's pretty impressive.
0:23 1:03 Yo nah this is one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen in the UFC. Max was talkin his shit while dodging punches and he even landed a no look right on the money 😮💨🔥
@@panagiotisk.8699 Dude lost against greatest of all time in his division(personal opinion) and lost in great fashion. Like this is looked like one of those Amateur calls out Pro MMA fighter. There are very few people in this world like that.Great fight , great lesson. I mean if u feel for anyone feel for Volkanovsky dude fought incredible hard wars that arguably should be 1:1. Got 2 wins yet no one really cares about him because Max is just on another level + Volko is a straight forward guy, he never showboats and does only the things that give the W. “In the zone.” Is the best way to describe it. Every sport has that feels. As a judoka it’s a clean effortless ippon with the crowd reaction (usually a gasp). Euphoric.
Why does this moment of the sweet art of violence literally bring me to tears lol? Its not like he is winning a title or anything, but the pure emotion and drive of Max is palpable even on video, this will go down in history as one of the best moments in MMA, for me at least for sure. I remember watching this fight live having placed a lot of money on Max, in the moment I was shouting "MAX WTF ARE YOU DOING, STOP SHOWBOATING!" , well now I know what he was doing, it goes deeper than "showboating" it goes deeper than emotions humans can describe, i believe that is why it has such an effect on everyone that watches and understands what is happening here.
In all honesty watching it live was so much crazier this is the best moment that ive ever seen in MMA. The best fight though was Joanna vs Weng Li that was the most insane fight for 5 rounds I have ever witnessed.
Dude legitimately cracked Kattar with a no look jab to punctuate the C in UFC as he was saying it. What the actual fuck? This whole shit is fucking alien 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I HATE people that HATE other people. I get a lot of HATE comments on my amazing videos and I HATE it. Please don't spread HATE. Do I have to HATE you too, dear gpnza
WOW this man has single-handedly given us some of the craziest moments in ufc history. The "lets bang" with Lamas and now this dodging punches while talking to commentary team damn
@@fmspjanus there's a point in that fight where Max literally grabs Brian's hands and shows him how to block right before he goes back to beating his ass.
There’s a part in the Ortega foggy where Max throws a combination, I think it’s a straight left, then shows magical footwork, switching stances with incredible speed and throwing a right. It might of been a 3 piece. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Thanks for uploading this one. Man, should honestly be recognized as not only one of the greatest performances in mma, but one of the greatest athletic performances of all time. Who does that? Who has that output and still looks like they could go for another five round fight after? Max was insane that bout, man. Crazy to watch.
Been watching UFC for a while now, this was probably the best thing I’ve ever seen live. Max switched into GOAT mode. If anyone didn’t catch the fight build up , many people were writing Max off after a second loss to Volkanovski ( the 2nd highly controversial) saying Kattar was the potentially the best boxer in the UFC. Max asked the commentary team to turn their headsets up so he could scream “I’m the best boxer in UFC baby” whilst throwing a no look right straight and slipping punches 😂. So hype , that’s certified greatness right there
I lost my shit watching this. Only thing I can think of that really compares is when Yair KO'd Korean Zombie in literally the last second of their fight. I genuinely lost my fucking mind watching that live and couldn't stop watching it afterwards
@@halld3460 Having a loss doesn't make you not the goat just like having 0 losses does not make you the goat. You can be Khabib and have no losses but he only fought 4 good people he can't claim goat status. Anderson Silva beat everybody for a long time and just didin't quit when he left his prime but he is moreso the goat than khabib.
Been saying it for years: If you’re an MMA fan and don’t love Max, you’re out of your mind. Great fighter. Great personality. And great moments for fans.
2 years later and I still come back to this. I keep forgetting how epic it is and it blows me away every time I watch it. This really has to be the most unfortunate time for featherweights right now. Losing to Holloway just to fight for the belt knowing full well that you aren’t gonna win that either.
@@micalzoncillo249 Its a straight jab because he’s not in southpaw nor is he in a conventional stance he’s literally in a awkward square boxing stance talking to the commentary team as he throws it. There was no wind up and no torque of the hips to make it a “straight right” which is a power shot. He flings it up from bottom to top like wonderboys piston jabs. Just because it’s his right hand doesn’t automatically make it a straight right homie g you gotta take into account his stance and how he throws it.
