Hi there, I have just discovered your workout, I am 57, never really did any exercise, but 7 months ago I had a Full Knee Replacement and have slowly built myself up on the treadmill, I just love the Incline workout, really gentle on the knees.

I have recently started doing incline treadmill walking and just decided to do 30mins at inclines between 6-8 and 3.5mph. I usually will just do the 30 minutes without changing the speed or incline much. Is it worth me constantly adjusting these during my workout or should I continue with what I'm doing ?
Thank you for reaching out. Both workouts are great for cardio, so it really depends on your preference. As always, we recommend you speak with your doctor or main healthcare provider to determine what workout routine is the best fit for you.
Since everyone's metabolism is different, the best way to estimate your calories burned is to use the metabolic equivalent equation. We estimate that the MET value of your workout will be between 6-8. Using this value you can use the following equation to determine your estimated calories burned. Total calories burned = Duration (in minutes)*(MET*3.5*weight in kg)/200. For real-time calorie tracking, you could use an activity tracker like our Smart Fit Watch.
