@@kyle2931 I did it at level 45, me and Lydia sliced away. He went down in 1 minute. I think it's his damage that is the problem, as the health is strong but not too strong. An ancient dragon at my level has the same health and I've killed plenty. He is a fast, damaging boss, not a tank.
@@TacticalScythe Looks like I’m possibly getting a PS5 sometime early this coming week - unless I’m thinking wrong and it possibly could be a bit later THIS week. First game I’m playing will be Skyrim !!!!
@@nicholas3141 i’ve never gone the vampire route, i can’t stand not being able to go out in the day. unfortunately i’m going to have to if i want all the achievements, all i’ve got left is the vampire/werewolf perk ones and i need to kill a legendary dragon
I honestly didn't think it possible, but that was a pretty cool battle to watch. Though it is weird the effect of the dark arrow wore off so quickly. I wonder if there was some counter affect from Clear Skies.
The vampire Lord is powerful asf, don't know what's up with people who say it's weak .Go at level 15 or when you unlock your form and try to fight w a saber cat at legendary difficulty and you will get pawned but if you switch to VL you win easily due to mobility. After you get your magic to 600 you can focus only on health because your health will keep you alive. For example after the VL transformation I had like 500 health points and 600 magicka, your damage is ok at over 100 points and w the chalice you regenerate mana. Of course it can't compare to the stealth archer or people who do damage as warriors but it's a mage class. Let's compare it to an ordinary mage first. Without max conjuration you have 2 summons and have the health of someone way above your level plus crowd control and it makes your health and magic look balanced. You can take on an army due to mobility which someone who hasnt max enchantments can't do. Its pretty good overal for a mage
Well i dont know... Its not weak per say, but it just doesnt work. I tried to make it work, i maxed it and i tried different many things, but its just too gimicky to play it seriously. Its viable at lower levels, but later on it starts to fall behind pretty quickly, and just pure destruction mage with black books and necessary shouts fully unlocked will perform much much better. You have even better crowd control as a mage since you can keep your targets perma staggered or cheese them with illusion spells, and there is also alot of utility. Believe it or not, but mage armor is pretty strong, and wards if you know how to use them are pretty great since they recharge magicka and can block basically anything, its not just about reducing damage taken.
@@johnnymcgeez5647 its very strong... Not if you play legendary tho but on legendary you do very little damage with everything unless you abuse smithing and enchanting
@@johnnymcgeez5647 yeah for me both beast forms were balanced around adept/expert mode. Wouldn't want to use them on master/legendary... Especially legendary
The sun changing from the blood-cursed arrows is a bug I think. It does it with me, but despite it looking daytime, I still have the effects of night with normal regen and healing.
@MeXiPlays They add by fault or by mods? sure thing the game would be awesome... because mostly youtube or google spoils the area and position of each enemy. A game would only become unique for each players by using Random and Percentage.
If I'm not mistaken, (I could be very wrong here since I have nothing to back this up other than my own experience, and from what my brothers told me since we both played it.) I believe when you fight revered or legendary dragons. Any kind of buffs you use to give yourself the advantage as far as environmental abilities go, once you're in the battle with either dragon. I believe they can neutralize it after a certain amount of time. The reason I say this, is because the very first time I took on a legendary dragon, I used the shock cloak spell for shits and gigs. It lasted not even 10 seconds when he swooped down to take a chomp out of me, right as soon at the fight started. Each cloak spell is supposed to last 60 seconds. My brother also called Odaviingh to try and help him fight a revered dragon. The spell didn't last for him very long when he used it.
Legendary Dragon: "Bah! You don't scare me, small fangs. Aren't you lot afraid of... fire? Haha" Vampire Lord: "You're just a large fancy chicken and as far as i'm concerned... dinner is served!" *Draws Drain Life spell*
I tend not to use blood cursed arrows anywhere because once the blood sun comes out, people in the cities get attacked by vampires. You might not witness it happen but you'll find corpses in your next visit
thats for sure. I always find it sad that its not much benefit to become a vampire lord. Is such a cool quest and concept, just wish it had a whole new build as strong as the regular
Vampire lord is just another "flex" for the Dragonborn. Just like being leader of the companions, and thieves guild, just to ultimately still being disrespected by the lesser of skyrim
The light version is better you shoot the sun and for like 60 seconds rays of light shoot down with pinpoint accuracy and hit your enemies with Fire damage.
Reminds me of the build I recently made with my first mods I've ever used. I made a blood-mage, Blood Elf Vampire. Strait out Destruction, Conjuration and sneak. But without mods I usually run Dark Elf for my vampires. Cause of their racial ability 50% resistance to fire. Vampires have a 20% weakness to fire at stage 1. In the end it balances out the vampire fire weakness to 0%. Cause with the DLC Dawngaurd it maxes out at -50% fire resistance at stage 4. Me I normally don't run Vampire Lord cause I usually run normal vampire on my mages.
Try these combo bro enhanced mighty dragons + ultimate dragons + dragon combat overhaul those are literally a kick ass dragon fight (edit: immersive dragons for aesthetics and his playing in ps5 so we don't have to bother him hehe)
Nice video mate. I didn't be able to do this kind of confrontation so I watched with curiosity. Vampire lord's are amazing. First time I played with them ruined almost every town and settlement that come in my way. That blood magic spell combined with drinking from the chalice if I remember correctly gives you health and magicka drain. That is basically a brutal loop that feeds this spam cycle. If you're fighting with a crowd that's even better. After boosting the gargoyle skill with that reward from the side quest two gargoyles can be used for tanking purposes. Telekinesis seems useless but actually it can throw things really far up so that gives a good fall damage to your hand plus it's entertaining :D And there are these bat's, poisined claw attacks as an alternative etc. A lot of fun ladies and gentlemen. I encourage you all to try who didn't play with it either for role playing or pleasure purposes. My biggest disappointment was this sun destroying thing. When I first heard this in game, I thought this will cancel out the negative effect of beign a vampire under the sun. I thought I will be able to walk freely without disadvantages. After that, game tempted me even more because this was a goal that worth pursuing as a vampire. After putting to much value, seeing the effect gone next in game morning and world as just usual was put me a lot of stress as a vampire. Still a vampire but living in miserable conditions.
I think since dragon has a very powerful fire attack, since it is vampire weakness, it would not make sense a vampire win in the lore, in the game the dragon born is protagonist made to be god.
Had the dragon been more aggressive then vampire would be at a major disadvantage. To be honest it depends on the vampire and the dragon. Despite what people claim the Dragonborn has a blessing of a Dragon Soul which makes them to be weaker inherently starting off than a actual dragon. They are no more of a God then other people have to claimed to be in the Elder Scrolls universe.
As versatility not.. Vamp lord can turn mist for healing, absorb health with drain spell can summon gargoyles etc.. With werewolf you could do the sprint attack which does high damage, but first the dragon must land... Another downside is that the werewolf cannot heal unless eating... Overall vamp lord is much more powerful but comes with weaknesses the werewolf don't
@@sixx2683 yeah i downloaded the Moonlight Tales Mod to play as werewolf. Great mod but i kinda miss playing vanilla skyrim so i think I'm going to do a vanilla playthrough and then maybe play with mods as a werewolf.
I am obssessed with vampires, to me vampires are the ultimate power I personally believe they are the heart of darkness, the only reason I love Skyrim is becceause of Vampire Lords and with help of Mods you can make a really powerful vampire lord... be cool by loving vampires :)
That’s nice but takes a while. I prefer using a couple of enchanted dragon bone daggers. At my level of 250 it only takes a like 30 seconds to kill the legendary dragons. But thanks for the vid
That's how it actually look for me - I am starting as 2h warrior/stealthy archer, kill few dragons and complete some quests, max my skill tree (around level 30-40), then when you're done it's time to go for magic experience. Then when i'm like 60-70 I transform into killing machine lord vampire. Also vampire lord is great for players who wanna go crazy into crafting first because you can take any enemy anyway. So you can play as smith + enchanter + alchemist, and with no fighting skills at all just turn into a monster when i'm danger. Nice for RP
@@rjacain3175 for sure, after so many hours of playing being able to nearly one shot dragons in my modded game became a huge problem to me, as well I'm sure you can relate that dragons just felt like a stronger animal encounter not a world boss. Now dragons appear in much harder groups with my encounter enhancers on top of that! Alot more fun and rewarding when I have to decide if I can manage taking down 3+ dragons with random elements from DDC as well. I love mods
Vampires were created by deidra, do you worship the deidra? Have you any idea how valiantly I fought to cure the Companions of a similar magic placed upon them? Hagraven tricks. How shall you ever stand before Tsun? I may summon twin Dremora lords but they could never best me. And I may keep the school of restoration in my other hand, but I handle a ward and shield just fine. I may have read all the black books of power... You know what...
I’ve wanted to play this game for the past 10 years and finally bought it a couple months ago already have most my skills at 100 and my main lvl is 136 with full legendary Daedric and Dragonbone armor, I beat the story as well so feels like not much left to do is Anniversary edition worth getting?
What's the point in being a vampire if their weaknesses outweigh them tenfold? Like, in the day, they can barely kill a fucking hampster, and at night their not even much better.
