that's great very simple and powerful, if you send a "clear" message box to the first (left) buffer's inlet, you can flush the record, but i'm sure you know that! cheers!
I think you have to give them different names so like [buffer~ sample 1] and [buffer~ sample 2] and refer to the names with the groove and play objects.
Hey ! Great tutorials, I'm quite the newbie to this program, so this is great! :-) How do you clear the buffer, apart from just recording over it again ?
This is really interesting. Can you recommend a good methodology for learning MSP? Any books? Does it require a D/A converter or sound card? I have a mac and use MOTU hardware and VI's to compose. Thanks!
Hi great tutorial. Just got Max today and I have a question. How to put multiple sounds on the same patch? I tried putting two buffers along two sig~ two groove~ etc.. and I tried putting only one dac~ object for audio output, but only the first buffer sound worked. Tried putting two dac~ , one for each buffer but didn't work either. I can't find any info about it so if someone could help me - thanks!
when i turned the input on, the levelmeter show it's working. but then i turned the input off and when i turned it on again, it just doesnt work anymore.. i checked sound input in sys pref and i can see the built-in mic is working as usual. does anyone has any idea? what should i do? btw Thanks for the tutorials. Great vids!
