Max Payne 3 is one of the best shooters ever released for me.The animation,the story,the writing,the voice acting and the atmosphere are top notch all around.It's one of the best Rockstar games and its one one of the few games in my life that i've finished 3 times.One part of me wishes for a sequel while another wants max to live a tranquil life after all this hell he has earned it with his blood and his addictions throughout the years.

Honestly I think Max Payne 3 is a good conclusion, idk about making more max payne games, however a John Wick with the same engine as this game (upgraded obviously) would make a killing for rockstar.

I miss these dense well designed stage mission type games such as max pyne 3, splinter cell blacklist, and ghost recon future soldier. I got bored with open world games filled with unlock items, skills, maps and destination points for repetitive tasks.

4:46 - One of my favorite scenes in the game! So cool when the smoke grenades go off, and you can see their lasers seeking you. The enemies here are also programmed to sometimes do some kind of "circular step dance" thing to avoid being shot when they move across the room, hard to explain, but it seems to be a smart thing to do, and makes me suspect that trained forces do that irl

Max Payne is one of those timeless masterpieces which will become a part of your memory. Great protagonist.

The reason this game looks so good is because of the dynamic physics and animation engine, along with the bullet holes which are quite satisfying. The game very impressively calculates the animations based on your shot placement. This includes the entire slow-mo shot and the manner in which the model will fall. The physics are very, very detailed, and very few games if any have gone to this extent to make things look like a real action movie. This attention to detail will always be impressive, regardless of when the game came out.

Max Payne 3 is literally the only videogame that utilizes the left hand for carrying a two handed weapon instead of putting it on their back. That's how this game ages so beautifully.

one thing that would have been awesome for max payne is a cinematic camera where you can play back what you did in slo-mo but in normal speed and change the camera views and stuff. sort of like photography mode that most games have with ability to change playback speed. Imagine all these slo-mo moves in real time showing just crazy accuracy?

This game was so badass! I remember that I was playing it around the time it released when I graduated high school. It really doesn’t seem like that long ago.

As someone who played (and loved) this game back then on a PS3 I watched this and wondered "how in the holy eff is he scoring so many sweet headshots?" Then I immediately went "oh."

I still remeber how I and my bro used to fight about who will play Max Payne 1 and now see how much they improved

It reminded me of "The Punisher" when I played it in the PS2

So underrated this game me and my bro spent ages trying to complete this on the most hardest difficulty would def buy the remaster edition day 1
