Man I remember playing this game 3 years ago and enjoying it so much. I played it about 3 times, for the amazing story, gameplay, and even the soundtrack. This game is a masterpiece in my opinion, and easily my favourite single player game I have played. This tribute bring me back to all that, thank you so much for making this.

Still here... Remembering Pathetic Desperation of Max's life and finding who I was. When the third Max Payne come up, I had no proper computer to play this masterpiece. So, I went to an internet cafe to play. In the first scene of the game, I was crying like bastard. I couldn't believe I was experiencing the continuation of this story... Not story, actually. Would be better to say, desperation. I remember Vlad screaming to Max "Why don't you just die?" in Alfred Wooden's place. Max is a bullet which is he fired, when his daughter choke down with her baby blanket and he stepped in to the blood pool of his wife in their bed. And this bullet nothing left to go forward, while piercing through everything on it's path. Since Max didn't die in the end, he still goes forward to live his desperation in a different way, until this bullet gets it's inevitable fatigue and falls into the nothingness... Or maybe into the peace which Max almost forget to desire for.

It's actually the name of the main song by Amon Tobin spelled "Clear Skys". Since we didn't really know what to call it we figured that would be as good as anything else. I assume you're referring to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky which has a slightly different name and came out 6 years ago. Nice catch, you know your games!

Most watching game vids probably associate something called Clear Skies with the STALKER sequel. Because the net involves text only, which can be misleading, I always label my vids so there's no mistaking their content or meaning, eg: Max "Payne 3 Tribute Montage". I think you'll also find you get more hit points that way because most that use RU-vid's search feature use simple keywords. Just trying to offer some constructive input. You can always mention the music in the description.

Before MP3 came out, I'd finish MP2 at least once a year for the fantastic story, gameplay and generally excellent game. Now that it's out, I still have the same urges to shoot people in slow-mo but it looks a lot better now!

Ha, same here. It's amazing the leaps they take from one game to the next. Not to hate on other games, but I feel this whole "one-a-year" trend is hurting the chances of a game being truly solid, polished and classic. Again, no hate, but I feel if people are playing games that are 10 years old, then something was done right.
