NOTE: To all of those who think of Max as being a bit whingey at this point, here's what he went through up to Chapter 2 or so: 01) Loss of his wife and infant daughter 02) Loss of his best friend 03) Being framed for a crime he didn't commit 04) Falling into a world of conspiracies, twists and turns (thrice) 05) 06) Getting addicted to painkillers (via player action (you bastard)) 07) Being hit with depression 08) Ending up having an affair on his late wife with someone else (who he loses as well) 09) Losing his job 10) Winding up in a bar fight, which ends in the death of a mob boss's son, which ends in Max having the entire criminal underworld going out to hunt him down I don't think anyone could take that much and not end up like Max.

To anyone who wants a Max Payne 4: Max has gone through so much shit, and in this game, he finally got a Happy Ending. Max's Story is over. The only thing that could be made in Max Payne 4 is a Prequel to the first game or (imo way better) just to remaster Max Payne 1 & 2.

I would love to see Remastered Version of Max Payne 1 & 2, applying the cover system, weapon inventory and other better things except changing the cutscenes style. I would prefer to have those old comic style, bringing back nostalgia. *IF* *AND* *ONLY* *IF* *ROCKSTAR* *DO* *IT.*

Max must have the biggest enemy bodycount in gaming (including cut scenes): MP1 - Virtually all of the Puchinello Family (except the Don), dozens of mercs, BB (a corrupt DEA agent) and Nicole Horne (the one who orchestrated his family's murder). MP2 - Vladimir Lem, Valerie Winterson, many "cleaning company commandos" and more mobsters. MP3 - Most of the Commando Sombra, Cecha Preto, a lot of UFE (including Becker) and a few of the DeMarco Family members.

That's why I'd love to see a little video about Max, how he's been doing since we left him strolling along on the beach. Just a bit of catching up until he gets into trouble and somebody threatens him. Then he'll just send them news articles of the wars he started and single handedly won, just to let them know who they're dealing with. They'd probably send him a gift basket with a note saying "Everything's cool. Nevermind. Sorry"

NOTE: Transitions in the game are virtually seamless, which is an awesome job on the part of Rockstar. I swear, they could have had an extended version of the two cutscenes just so the company could work out where to transition.

If you play the story from the "Select Chapter" menu, you will not unlock the achievement. You need to start a new story.

That's purposeful. All the main characters in GTAV were meant to represent other Rockstar games. Michael is Max Payne 3, Franklin is Midnight Club: Los Angeles, and Trevor is Manhunt. However Michael is the only character whose design is based off of another Rockstar character.

The difference is, while John Wick is a retired hitman who lost his wife for natural causes and got his dog killed by some punks, Max Payne was an ex-cop who lost his wife and daughter by the Russian mafia. But both of them have similar goals and characteristics: they seek revenge, pass through another trauma and gone through major depression after completing their objective.

Your friend betraying you at school and you climbing trees and shooting with a slingshot at jocks isn't exactly cool. Fun, but not cool. Vice City, San Andreas had ACTUAL antagonists, and to top it off, they betrayed you. Unexpectedly. They felt like friends. Gary didn't really feel like a friend, he seemed like a shitbag, that's why the ending didn't get me.

I believe hardcore is much harder than old school. Just tested it, takes about 2 pistol shots to enter last man standing, or directly death. Feels like one shot only at point blank range, not sure.

i don´t know what you think about mp3´s graphics in compare to crysis or battlefield, but i think nowhere in any otherr game you can see modelled such things like guy in wet suit and wet hair or in sweating shirt, or many people with longer hair and not meintion the violent wounds from bullets. i think rockstar delivers much more than just jungle graphic presentation or building destructions.
