While some of the writing is cringey and dated most of the writing in this game is fuckin amazing! My favorite was when max says "the mission was screaming suicide but I didn't give a damn, at least I would die being a pain in the ass!" Also "how many more of your clowns are you going to send out to die!"
@@anjaneyasreetrout2444 same not a single line in this game was cringey to me. People really overuse the word cringe. Often times this is to leverage the power of social shame to coerce others into sharing your opinion. If I label something I don't like as cringey and someone else likes it then they are rendered cringey by association. Pretty lame and petty maneuver to be frank.

I loved the fact that Pasos wasn't a dumb backstabber cliche. Men in this game aren't black and white, but all shades of grey. And both Max and Pasos had the integrity.
Thats so pleasing to watch, the atmosphere of the game and your skill and memorizing of every segment make it look like a movie about a really pissed off, old professional hurt man, good work
@Niggaa aaa It's funny that really is how it works. I think it is canonical that he gets shot in non lethal or injuring ways the entire game, and infrequently.
Watching your videos makes me A). Realize just how terrible I am at Max Payne 3, and B). Really, really, REALLY want to go back and play Max Payne 3 again. This is seriously impressive stuff.
15:34 what an awesome set piece. I remember replaying it countless times trying to construct the most cinematic sequence of kills while not taking any damage. I can tell it took you a few reloads as well.
I remembered when I played Max Payne 3 timestamp 15:45- 16:00 one of the last police officers actually surrendered when he saw my skills. So I let him lived. He was a smart one.

I`m slightlee late to the party but if I`d known that nobody had no damaged this game before I`d have done it a lot earlier so it could`ve grown a lot by now. I was wondering which game to choose to be my last walkthrough so this turned out to be the perfect opportunity to end my channel in a pretty special way
You're right. But, the reason why I called it that is because it basically is the same concept where the main focus is just shooting bad guys for each set and having the game take you into another set, kind of like how rail shooters do, except in this game you have the ability to move your character around. I enjoyed playing Max Payne 3 nonetheless.
@@Kehwanna interesting comparison, I never thought of it that way. Like the 21st century, seventh-gen evolution of that. I'd also add to that a 21st century, seventh-gen evolution of an arena shooter AND a rail shooter.

18:39 I thought it was funny when Max starts monologuing in front of Becker instead of straight out killing him. Then Victor does the same mistake to Max when saving Victor in the very same scene. And then BECKER DOES THE SAME THING WHEN SAVING VICTOR! Saying something before running away.
Yeah, funny enough tho, it's realistic and not only a cinematic cliche, you see, the nature of the human being is that he loves bragging about his success, Max wasn't bragging tho, he was so angry he wanted to kill Becker by choking him to death, Victor on the other hand was bragging by his monologue and he didn't kill Max right away because he's a narcissist, while Becker tazed Max and ran away with Victor because neither of them were in the right mindset to think of killing him, I mean Max was choking Becker to death and head butted Victor so, yeah.
I did the Old School Free Aim run on PS3 it was so fun but also challenging. There were a few levels I barely took damage but to take none for the game is insane even with a few cuts. I love this game so much and I’m so happy to see fans in the comments and videos like this
a desync was occurring when I attempted to join the chapters together so I`d probablee need to spend a whole day in attempts to fix that and I really don`t have the willpower to do that atm but I could maybe try to do it in a week or two
What’s funny, is that this chapter was so big, I thought I would miss all of the clues and stuff. I almost had everything. I found all of the clues and 2 of the 3 Golden Guns. I missed the final part for the LAW.
Silvester Sourn throughout the series you can easily observe some subtle cuts, thats because sometimes he actually gets hurt or dies, sometimes it may happen just seconds before a checkpoint and then he has to replay the segment as his mo is to not get hurt once
